My property is a 18th and 19th century farm and has got 4 main buildings: the guest house, mine, another separated one to be restaured and a tradtional"porteau"barn(specific to George Sand's area). The very special about it is the fact that I'm restaurating it the way it really used to be in the 19th century.So it is "a going back in time" and its ambiance is very special... I also want this place to be a spiritual retreat(direct Compostella walk) .
I travelled abroad for about 6 years and lived in England for 8 years, that was fantastic !I still love to discover new places and settled down in central France because I found it very balanced and still very preserved european place to be. I've lived here for 5 years to be able to know nature more and to try to live simply and to be in touch with my own personality.I love any form of art and creativity,organic gardening, swimming in rivers and look after farm animals.I love interior decoration and traditional old stones restauration.
Neighborhood in interesting because central (nowhere is far away).George Sand's valley is very romantic(by walk, bike or car)and very related to art too(Chopin, Balzac etc..spent some time at Nohant).There are 2 main festivals:Chopin's one and a a"folk"one too. Sarzay is less than 10 km away from most historical places related to George Sand and has got a medieval castle to be visited all year long. This is as well only 1 hour driving to the Creuse swimming area or the wild bird watching Brenne !..
