From the outside I was nervous about what I was getting into, but it was nicer than it looked from the outside. My first impression was that the service was excellent. Very friendly encounters with all the employees. The room was a decent size and comfortable. The thermostat actually worked, which isn't always a given. The breakfast was good with a decent selection. OK location if you're visiting Lyon and don't want to pay the premium to stay in town.

Booked here as I didn't have another choice in terms of location. Arrived there with mixed feelings, it's an old Hospital repurposed by the salvation army. The hallways are full of paintings of patients and the bar is a piece of Art. Rooms are small but totally fine. Let it Surprise you. Check out the Franco-Syrian restaurant in the same building. Great pricing, nice staff and delicious food

We were the only ones booking one of the 3 rooms upstairs, so it was very quiet and private. The night before Maguelonne prepared the elements for a great breakfast in the morning, to be had whenever we wanted. Nice attention. We could park the car (great for motorcyclists too) in the yard at the back of the house, behind closed gates.
