A characterful town house located within the ancient castle walls of Conwy, perched on the Conwy Estuary, looking out to sea. The house was built around 1870 and is ideally situated for exploring Conwy on foot. The house is arranged on ground, first and second floors and is deceptively large - it will comfortably sleep 7 guests. The house was recently refurbished in 2023, including a new smart TV and fast broadband. See photographs. There is a family bathroom on the first floor, and an additional WC on the ground floor. There is a small garden area at the front and rear of the house, which is big enough for a picnic table and chairs.
I grew up in North Wales and have a good knowledge of Conwy and the local area, so if you need any help in planning your trip, I would be very happy to make some suggestions. Whether you are interested in exploring the castles of North Wales, climbing Snowdon, taking in the impressive Victorian town of Llandudno, visiting the flagship gardens of the RHS at Bodnant Garden, experiencing the waves at Surf Snowdonia, or simply strolling around Conwy, there is plenty to see and do.
A rare opportunity to stay within the World Heritage town of Conwy built in the 13th Century. Guests can wander around this beautiful town which offers a wonderful mix of historical sites including Conwy Castle, Plas Mawr (The most significant Elizabethan Merchant's House in the UK), galleries, artisan shops, including bakeries, delicatessens, restaurants, cafes and pubs. Once you have explored the town you can sit and enjoy the views of the estuary and castle from the quayside. The Liverpool Arms is just next to the quay if you would like to relax with a pint or glass of wine.
