Abacus Central Guest House is a family run guest house. We strive to provide you with comfortable, clean and quiet accommodation at budget prices. Our quiet location also provides great convenience for parking, shopping, restaurants, take-aways, cash ATMs, and public transport. At this time, accommodation is provided on room-only basis without breakfast, but with your own fridge, microwave oven, kettle, TV, table & chairs, etc. So you have the option either to store/prepare your own breakfast (eg. milk+cereals, sandwiches, soup, yogurt, fruit juice, porridge, etc) and evening meals, or eat out at café / restaurants nearby. Morrisons supermarket is located across the road. WetherSpoons, Indian restaurants and Chinese take-aways are within 5 mins’ walk. University of Aberdeen / Old Aberdeen is 15 mins’ walk. Pizza Hut and Pepe are 1 min walk. A good Fish & Chips take-away is 2 mins walk. City centre Union St (east end) is 5 mins walk, Bon Accord shopping centre and beach retail park / restaurants are 10 mins walk. Free WIFI is provided in the rooms. On-street parking is just outside the guest house.

Abacus Central Guest House is located in a quiet street with no through traffic, with metered parking on both sides of the street. A line of trees provides greenery view from our front rooms while the even quieter rear rooms have garden view. Besides the Morrisons supermarket, there are several other local shops and restaurants along nearby King Street. Some granite buidlings with interesting architectural features are within 5 - 7 mins' walk (please refer to the gallery photos). Aberdeen beach, with the amusement fun park and Beach Shopping Retail Park, is 10 mins' walk. The walk from city centre Union St to our guest house is very much horizontal, easy to pull your luggage along lit street pavements. Please refer to the Directions details for walking from the bus/train station or bus stop from the airport, if not coming by taxi/car.
