Stunning location within a short walk of the Blair Athol Distillery. Breakfast was excellent. The spa facilities were good and the museum painted a wonderful picture of what it must have been like all those years ago.

Breakfast was good if unremarkable. Staff were very courteous. In fact they were really kind. My accommodation was better than I'd expected and I liked the spaciousness of the Bank House. I would go there again. The hospitality tray was kept well topped-up - a small but pleasant feature of my stay.

We first visited Pitlochry in autumn 2019 - it was delightful then - it’s now spring 2024 - just as enjoyable, not a lot has changed. The main shopping precinct is busy with bus tours and particularly with tourists over the weekend - early mornings are best to get a seat in a coffee shop . To beat the crowds, take the suspension bridge across Tummel River to the Port-na-Craig area - the stone cottages and pub by the river bank is a tranquil area to enjoy. Continue along the walking path to the ‘salmon ladder’ and beyond to Faskally Wood or much further to the Killiecrankie Visitors Centre.

A thriving town with lots of independent shops to browse in, eateries & bars & the distillery. There are several museums & galleries. There are frequent drama productions. All the hotels were well signposted.
The scenery is superb with the River Tummel, lochside, woodland & mountain vistas.
Loch Faskally is absolutely stunning & Queens View is aptly named.
There are many walks available from Ben Vrackie 841m, to many waymarked walks in the forest parks. There is a great stroll down to the river & a nice park near the hotel.
Great for angling & cycling routes south of the river. The botany of the limestone outcrops is famous.

Lots of choices of restaurants / pubs. Plenty of quaint shops on the high street. A good base for sightseeing. Short car journey from The House of Brewer. We stayed 1 night to break our journey up, so limited time to fully explore the area.

Always love walking along the river and crossing the dam.
Always love walking along the river and crossing the dam. We had more time this time, so walked down to the boats and enjoyed a lovely cuppa from the other side of the dam. There's a path that runs from the start of the dam (behind the car park) and around the side of the dam into a housing estate. Then walk down towards the Green Park Hotel.
You must take a trip to House of Bruar ! Fabulous shopping experience.

House of Bruar department store 10mins by car. There are buses but not many.
Fishers Hotel good hotel, good Restaurant.
The Coach House serves very good food (not cheap).
Plenty of other places to eat and Supermarket just off high street.
They upgraded our room that included a bay window looking out onto the charming little town. We absolutely loved it. The room was very clean, filled with charm and the bed was super comfortable. The woman who staffed the desk was extremely sweet, friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is fantastic, large and actually quite stunning. When you stay overnight, they essentially discount the breakfast, which is an added bonus. There is quite a lot to explore in and around Pitlochry and we wished we had stayed longer!
It is the hotel for a perfect stay. You will be greeted and welcomed personally. The room had a wonderful view of the gorgious garden, in which there was always something to watch. A stay in this hotel alone feels like a vacation. The breakfast is perfect and leaves nothing to be desired. The two hosts are wonderful; very accommodating and have good tips for things to do. Not just for Pitlochry, but for all of Scotland too. I highly recommend this hotel.
Yet again the staff at Carra Beag have been amazing !. The last time I came to Scotland with 2 friends we were let down by another hotel. The Carra Beag not only helped us out, but rearranged a bed room so it would contain 3 single beds. This time they have extended our stay due to my car breaking down. The staff here are fantastic. I cannot praise this place enough. Whenever I come to stay in Pitlochry, this is the place to stay for me.
Amazing guest house in Pitlochry! We stopped by this town before heading to Skye. James was very helpful and accomodating! Ask him for tips and ideas about going around towns. Evern if were a group of 10 people, we were treated very well! Included a breakfast which was good! The rooms were clean and felt like home.
Location was superb as well! Right in the main road near all the restaurants and Blair Atholl Distillery.
Beautiful hotel in a beautiful spot, great choice at breakfast (including poached eggs on request which made me very happy). Staff are so helpful and friendly. Room was very spacious and comfy and the bathroom was excellent. Very close to the shops and restaurants in Pitlochry and the local visitor attractions.
We didn't try the restaurant in the evening but certainly will next time.
We loved our stay at the Atholl Villa Guest House. James one of the owners is great to chat with, and he gave us a lot of tips around Scotland. This B&B is on the main street so easy to walk to all the shops, and we were offered the chance to park our car there for a few hours past check-out time which helped us explore Pitlochry. The breakfast was great and the room super comfortable.
The breakfast was delightful and on special order. The facility was very clean, neat, and nicely appointed. The bed comfortable. Since the builiding was on a hillside, the views terrific. The owners/staff very friendly and helpful. It was an excellent experience which we would gladly repeat if we get to Pitlochry again.
Room clean spacious and comfortable.
Breakfast lovely. staff excellent.
Location to town great we walked everywhere.
Location of rooms disappointing. We were 301 our family was 107 hotel was not busy we could and would have liked our rooms closer together especially with the children
Was visiting from US and hadn’t been in Pitlochry for several years and requested a room with a view. Unfortunately I got a room with a view of the other side of the hotel ! I had a mental picture of the surrounding hills but saw stone and windows…..
Breakfast was hearty. Hosts were friendly and knowledgeable of the area and made great recommends. The bed was comfortable and a queen which s easier than a double. All in all a good nights stay. And Pitlochry is a nice small town to visit.
Breakfast was excellent, hotel had its own pool, sauna and steam room, and the staff were really helpful. The hotel is 2 minutes away from the main street in Pitlochry, couldn't be better located. Also loads of parking available.
Fishers hotel is located on the main street in Pitlochry, and very easy to find. It was also the pickup point for the Enchanted Forest experience, so was very convenient. The complimentary drink upon check-in was a nice touch.
Immaculately clean, tastefully furnished and maintained. Friendly and helpful owner. Superbly cooked breakfast and great choice. Better environment and food than several 4/5 star hotels I’ve stayed in.
The setting is nice, walking distance to the cute town of Pitlochry, the bathrooms were modern and very clean, room were very decent, plus they also have a smart TV ;)
First night of arrival in Scotland. Short walk to downtown with lots of food choices. Staff kind and helpful. Rooms spacious and comfortable. Good breakfast.
