Dundee is a vibrant city with plenty to see some amazing architecture and buildings there revamping older buildings but retaining the look walks around the swanney ponds to parks plenty of shopping the waterfront the V&A look its easy for me to say but you should make the effort plenty of choice of hotels our favourite is the Aoex . Bars and restaurants for all your tastes we love Tasa buffet restaurant but food to die for try it well worth going 👌

Great small city, beautiful coutryside, lots to do, Easy parking and pleasant walks. Basic restaurants only available late as most stop serving at 8pm. Has V and A museum and interesting architecture, lovely people very helpful.

It was my second short break in Dundee, and my companion's...
It was my second short break in Dundee, and my companion's first. We had a delightful few days. The city's location on the River Tay is very attractive, and it's small enough to get around and feel that you've seen it. There are some grand buildings, often with quirky individual design touches. Although we didn't use them, we were impressed by the number of bus services. Staff in hotels, shops, restaurants and visitor attractions, and any local residents we came across, were unfailingly friendly, welcoming and helpful. People had time for others and seemed generally content; Dundee must be a good place to live. Our standout meals were in Taza (Indian buffet) and Rama (Thai restaurant). We found the V & A fascinating, and spent a whole day at the amazing McManus. What an enterprising, adventurous and creative place Dundee has been and still is. We've already recommended it as a destination to others, and will continue to do so.

The city is small with some fantastic buildings and visitor attractions like the V&A. The dandy and beano statues are great fun. we went for a gig at Beat Generator, which is a great little venue.

Dundee , albeit run down in many places has very friendly people and is ideally situated as a base to explore the rest of the East of Scotland. Also has a variety of shops, museums/art galleries and leisure facilities

Dundee is a great City to visit with the V & A and...
Dundee is a great City to visit with the V & A and restaurants. Also Glamis Castle is 25 mins away which was a very good visit but book first and you can book afternoon tea but again in advance. I would definitely return to Dundee in the future.

We had a room on the front of the hotel, overlooking the river, but the windows were not particularly great from a soundproofing point of view.
Staff were really friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a great location. There's a lot going on in Dundee and I would have loved to have spent a full weekend there and not just the one night. Some nice local pubs and restaurants nearby too.
We were there for open day at St Andrews's University which is about 20 minutes away.

Lovely stylish apartment within beautiful old victorian building. Recently renovated to a high standard. 5 minutes walk away from great bars, restaurants on Perth Rd. Owner of hotel was their to greet us on arrival and gave good tips of where to eat, drink and see etc. Would definitely book again. Was first time in Dundee and everyone very friendly and welcoming.

Great location for an overnight stay in Dundee. Arrive off of the train and straight into hotel, so easy. Lovely welcome at reception and hotel bar before dropping off bags and heading into the city centre. Brilliant. Everyone I met who worked there were really pleasant.

Bed were comfy, good car park with petrol station right next door, on the ring road so easy access in and out of Dundee if needed.
Behind hotel is Camperdown Park which had hours of walks, a zoo, tennis courts and a Cafe.

Lovely, quaint, family run hotel, close to Dundee's West end. Bed was comfy, clean room, spotless bathroom and shower. Cooked breakfast was brilliant- my wife had this huge plate of smoked salmon and poached eggs!
