Location- remote (which I love - Keswick is about 8 miles away) and situated in what I consider to be the best part of the Lakes for walking (I have been staying at the apartments on and off for the past 20 yrs). Hiking access to 3/4 valleys, lakes and fell ranges just a few hours in all directions. Park up and leave the car for the week. After a testing hike or over exertion, the Bridge is always an excellent available alternative than having to cook providing lovely food and drink! The apartments have been refreshed - a definite improvement. Staff are very helpful and attentive. Intermittent/no mobile signal (bliss!) although wi-fi is now available.
