Our beautiful country house and apartments offer well equipped self catering holiday accommodation set in small semi-rural village. Clevelands is well hidden down an unmade single lane. Within walking distance of the village grocery shop and local pub/themed restaurant. We are situated in a semi rural village and we highly recommend your own transport to get around. Ventnor & Shanklin are 10-15minutes drive by car. The country house has 5 bedrooms and please note that bedrooms 4 and 5 are a family suite that share a shower and toilet. Bedroom 4 is a double and is access to bedroom 5 a twin bedroom. Clearly shown on floor plan. The house sleeps a maximum of 10 guests (adults and children) and a foldaway guest bed can be set up for an additional child. The foldaway guest bed will be in one of the larger bedrooms. We accommodate a maximum of two infants only, we have travel cots, highchairs, changing mat and potty. Please advise us early if you plan to include infants, so that we can ensure baby facilities above are available. Our property is for guests only (booked) due to liability and insurance issues. No exceptions and no visitors. The dining room can seat 10 guests, we have colourful artwork and fun lighting to brighten it up, as there is no natural light. The terrace is popular for alfresco dining in summer. We can offer discounted car ferry rates from Southampton, please ask host after booking.

I moved to the island almost 10 years ago. I worked in a busy corporate environment abroad and now I absolutely love the slower pace of island life. The walks around Wroxall and the Island are fabulous. Fantastic views, country pubs and cream teas! Great cycle routes whether you prefer the Extreme Chalk Ridge challenge or road trips. Location is semi rural, so your own transport is highly recommended! We are a fabulous base to explore the islands beauty, the stunning views and the fabulous walks that literally surround the village. Golf, fishing, horse riding and cycle tracks are all close by. Plus lovely country pubs with great food and superb beer! The island beaches! Shanklin and Ventnor are close by, Sandown too. Compton, Ryde and Colwell Bay are all fabulous for bucket and spade fun. Vineyard at Adgestone, garlic farm at Newchurch, try the House of Chilli at Holliers Park with the Bus Stop cafe on a double decker and the crafts on display at Holliers Tunnel Market at Hale Common on the main road towards Arreton. A car or electric bikes are recommended due to the semi rural village location. Bus (Number 3) to Newport every 30 minutes and to Ventnor every 30 minutes. The house is 5 minute walk to the bus stop. There are no takeaways in the village. Ventnor or Shanklin are the nearest places for takeaway and also choice of places to eat.
