Great location - 10 minutes walk from station and very close to town center. Also in a relatively quiet part of the city. The room was large and clean and well appointed. It had a night light in the bathroom for safety. THANK YOU!

I used to live here so only visiting family, unless you are here for the railway heritage there is not a lot to see in the town, but it is like most towns that we visit empty shops a sense of depreciation everywhere.

Darlington is a vibrant northern town with a big future.
Darlington is a vibrant northern town with a big future. You only have to look at the developments at the train station, and the fact part of the treasury is relocating there. A bigger brighter future for darlo awaits.

It was beautiful with lots of interesting history & it's got beautiful grounds which would be beautiful in the summer so can't wait to plan another trip to The George in the summer time. The room was very clean & had everything we needed. The only negative I have is we had to ask about information about meals etc but the staff were more than helpful

The staff at 119 are just lovely, so friendly and helpful.
The staff at 119 are just lovely, so friendly and helpful. The boss is prepared to do anything to make your stay as comfortable as possible, he really is a top man! The facilities are faultless, everywhere is clean and tidy. The kitchen has tea and coffee facilities, and can be used whenever needed, (obviously taking other guests into consideration)
My partner and I have stayed here twice now and would not stay anywhere else, we have found somewhere that's comfortable friendly professional and above all else brilliant value for money.
We are back in January!
Stayed as we attended at gig at Darlington Arena. Staff were very welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we received a good customer service. They were very helpful providing some drinks and food when returned late to the hotel after the gig. Rooms were clean and spacious, restaurant and bar with a wide range of food and drinks. Short taxi journey from hotel to arena or town centre - £7.00 - £10.00 fare.
Superb hotel!
The hotel is in a great setting very close to Darlington centre. The reception, bar area and restaurant were very clean and tidy. The garden area was well kept and had some great loungers to chill out on. We had a standard room on the ground floor which was very comfortable. Staff in the main were very pleasant and did their best to make us welcome and our stay enjoyable.
I really did like everything. Location was good. There are a lot of bus stops near the hotel. Town centre is only about 15 minutes walk . There are a lot of shops and pubs not far from the hotel. The stuff was very kind to me as well. Basically nice comfy and very cheap room. I will definitely stay here again next time.
Excellent location for town centre and close to Darlington Hippodrome. Room was beautifully clean, well decorated, pleasant and light. Breakfast was so fresh and tasty; the cooked course was made to order with fresh ingredients beautifully cooked and delivered with good service. The coffee was very good indeed.
The town house is perfectly situated in the centre of Darlington and everything is a minutes walk away. The property was welcoming, clean and the host was exceptionally welcoming. The breakfast is a complete must as the quality of every item was displayed and cooked to perfection.
Room, location, Nora from the shop Fish and chips who actually helped me to get inside the hotel. The kitchen was helpful, there is everything you need for a quick breakfast. Microwave, frudge and kettle work well. The fridge is very small, but it was fairly clean
Food was very plentiful and an excellent choice range. Breakfast was particularly brilliant. Room was nicely decorated and very clean.Very easy to find in a quiet location, with quick access to Darlington & the motorway.
Nice apartment in a good location for the centre of Darlington, with everything you need. Easy access and seamless booking process. Bathrobes a nice touch.

like the facility to park car securely.
