Bed comfortable. Quiet. Clean. Staff polite. Food good at breakfast.
The wash basin plug did not work would not keep water in sink. Menu in room was out of date. No comfortable seats for two. TV poor.
Convenient with a choice of places to eat within easy walking distance
Good dinner in the carvery below.
Close to heathrow
The friendly welcome.
It was very noisy - I couldnt sleep - the fan in the bathroom was on constantly and made a lot of noise - there was also some machine near our room which was on throughout the night.
The check-in process was a joke and the guy who processed our booking could not have been more unhelpful if he tried. Paying at check-in and not at check-out is somewhat strange as I've never experienced this before.
Comfort of rooms.
Smell of dining room.Very basic breakfast with no fruit.
Proficient staff. Nice continental breakfast.
Room looked out onto a wall so was pretty dark and the desk light did not work.
the room is of good size and clean
Excellent location for LEGOLAND or Heathrow. Complementary breakfast can be upgraded to a full English for £3.99.
Not too far off the approach to Heathrow so it can be a little noisy at times.
The whole Atmosphere
A really nice well run Hotel. The carvery is really good value for money and is very popular with the locals.
We did'nt need to go off sight for our meals, but if we did need a change there are other pubs close by only yards!
carvery good value
Worst place ever stayed. No clear signpost for reception, it was in pub staff were busy serving so checking in was an extra chore for them. Room ok but shower mouldy and extractor fan working all night so noisy. Bed to soft so no good if weak back. Meal in pub was disgusting (shocked as toby carvery normally nice).Breakfast we up graded to full English awful think was left overs from night before. No staff around at check out, very poor service.Going to stick to premier inn for business trips in future
everything service was very good if you have a problem with anything they do sort out straight away.
ease of access to bus & train services good parking friendly helpful staff
the room we were in was above the kitchen & the extractor unit was very noisy ,also some double glazing would be a good idea it"s right in the flight path for heathrow
Easy access to Windsor with plentiful parking; Comfortable bed and a spacious room; Good food available on site
No dedicated check-in reception as the staff were under pressure with the arrival of a coach party.
very clean. good location. Good sized room with all the usual facilities. Reasonable price for location.
Beds too soft so not very comfy. Check in at end of bar not ideal. Access to rooms through restaurant not ideal. Staff in the main very helpful but when checking in were too busy serving at the bar
We had work to do in the Cookham and Windsor area, so a good place to stay
We asked for one gluten free breakfast but it was not available
welcoming staff good facilities good location not far to travel by car to LEGOLAND easy and plenty available car parking spaces clean room- bathroom modern design
sofa bed uncomfortable attention to detail- tissue box not fixed to wall properly so fell off no tea/coffee sachets - had to ask for some upgraded to cooked breakfast which was overcooked no lift
Near to Runnymede where we were attending a reunion. Nice size room, clean bedding and bathroom. Ok for an overnight stay. Food OK but pub was very busy on a Sunday evening and a bit noisy - lots of families. Quietened down later in the evening.
Booking in at the bar. Computer is right at far end of the bar so you have to walk virtually the length of the pub through all the drinkers to get to the computer. Also it took a while before we could be served as all staff were busy dealing with people at the bar. We encountered this last year so didn't take our luggage in - so it would be inconvenient for people struggling with luggage to get through all the people in the bar before they could book in - not ideal.
The service given by management and staff and friendliness
