This modern 2 bedroom apartment is well-equipped for short breaks or long term stays in York. Sleeping up to 4 people and with the benefit of twin single beds, this home provides a great base from which to explore the city in comfort. Located down a quiet street in a secure modern building, the apartment is next to York District Hospital, 3 minutes walk to York St Johns University and only an 8 minute walk to the city centre with York's vast array of pubs, restaurants and tourist attractions. Managed by a professional co-host of Airbnb, the property is professionally cleaned and the linen/ towels are replaced with freshly laundered supplies between each stay. We offer remote access with easy self check-in and 24/7 guest support should you need any assistance during your stay. There is an open plan kitchen, dining and living area, which is perfect for socialising or family dinners. The living area has 2 comfortable sofas, TV with free Netflix and a dining table for up to 4 people. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to make you feel at home - including an oven, washing machine, fridge freezer, and small appliances such as kettle, microwave and toaster. The master bedroom includes a king bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers and en- suite shower room. The second bedroom has 2 comfy single beds and is facilitated with a second bathroom which includes a shower over the bath. The neighbourhood has a lot to offer to its visitors. There’s a shop right downstairs, the nearest pub is The Punch Bowl – just across the street. You can also find plenty of local Restaurants, including the York Tandoori on Lowther Street, Coconut Lagoon, The Monkey and the Dog Eat Thai and Sylhet Tandoori on Haxby Road, all within one or two minutes walk. While exploring the Historic City, you can find dozens of restaurants or enjoy a peaceful walk near Ouse river. York train Station is only 1 mile away, about 20 minutes walk. You can walk to the city centre on foot in 10 minutes. My flat is just 5 minute walk from the Union Terrace coach and car park - from there the city walls are only 10 mins further! The nearest bus stop is called York St.John University. Several bus routes cross here with regular buses into the city centre and the surrounding areas.
