Welcome was first class and above and beyond in serving excellent cream tea in the garden on request on arrival. Room was very good, restaurant first class and all staff very welcoming and friendly. It all had an authentic charm. Excellent value for money and would be very hard to better! Quiet, easily accessible location and also ideal for visiting Hardy’s Cottage close by.

A chocolate box cottage only a short walk to Moreton, where the Walled Gardens and Laurence of Arabia grave are worth visiting. Turn left and cross the ford and you have miles of spectacular walks and runs on your doorstep. An absolute playground in beautiful British countryside.

Moreton is quite spread out and the cottage was quite secluded which was ideal for us. The Walled garden was a delight and many other places of interest were within a 30 minute drive or less. The cottage kitchen was well equipped, including a full cooker, fridge freezer and dish washer. We ate in the nearest pubs, The Frampton Arms and The Seven Stars - both dog friendly.
