IndiaI had a great stay at The Grove Hotel in Bournemouth. The location is perfect, very close to the beach and all main attractions.
The staff were the highlight of my stay — extremely friendly, helpful, and always welcoming. They made everything smooth and comfortable from check-in to checkout.
The hotel was clean and well-maintained throughout, which made the stay even more pleasant.
Overall, a really enjoyable experience. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

The staff were friendly & helpful. Plenty of parking.
Breakfast was fresh, tasted good & there was a lot of choice.
Alternative milks available at breakfast, which is a big plus as I can't drink milk.

Known for its sandy beaches and good nightlife, Bournemouth is a popular seaside resort on the Dorset coast between Poole and Christchurch.
The town is centred on the Bourne River, running downhill towards the sea by Bournemouth Pier. This pier looks back towards a promenade lined with beach huts at the foot of grassy cliffs. The promenade continues west to Poole, while a road goes east to neighbouring Boscombe, where anglers often fish from its pier. Overlooking it is a clifftop road housing some Bournemouth hotels with sea views.
Booking.com also offers hotels near the BIC – Bournemouth International Centre in the West Cliff area. This convention centre and music venue is a short walk from the Art Deco Pavilion Theatre, located next to the Lower Gardens. In this popular city park is the Bournemouth Eye, a tethered hot air balloon that offers far-reaching views.
At the park’s top end the river disappears under a large square, then emerges in the Central Gardens. Overlooking these gardens is the Victorian town hall, which used to be one of several spa hotels in Bournemouth. Opposite is a Grade I-listed church, and St Peter’s Church has the grave of Mary Shelley, author of ‘Frankenstein’.
On the outskirts of town, near 4 golf courses and the Castlepoint Shopping Centre, is Bournemouth Airport.

The economy is hitting most seaside towns, a large number of empty shops, and a high number of charity shops was evident. Having had a house in Poole for a number of years we were very dispapointed with the town of Bournemouth seeing it the way it is compared to 15 years ago We won't be going back
The best thing about the area was Rick Stein's restaurant excellent food and service

The weather was good... the best value for us was the indoor rock climbing centre near the pier. our 7 year old spent 2hrs-30 mins in there, the staff were really nice worth every penny.....We found boat rides expensive for the length of ride. young children can play on the beach...

Bournemouth is getting worse. £28 for 24 hour parking next to royal bath hotel. £21 a cinema ticket ( watch the same film back home for £4.99 ). The gardens, park and beach is full of stoners stinking the place out. Don’t think I want to go back there again.

Bournemouth is a nice town.
Bournemouth is a nice town. The beach seems enjoyable, although I did not have time to enjoy it. It is a nice place to visit for up to 3 days. I stayed for a week to attend a conference. If it is not on the route, I would not go to Bournemouth just to visit this place. From Europe, it is meaningless to fly there for a sea holiday. It is a small and neglected town.

Bournemouth was stunning, from the great range of restaurants, live music, and evening shops. The beach is stunning with soft sand. It felt like we were abroad. The gardens through the city were a highlight. My children loved the aquarium and the pier. It felt safe and inviting. I would highly recommend it for a family holiday.

The area is lovely with a great beach which never seemed too crowded.
Surprisingly in the height of the season we experienced at least 2 bars, one being a beach bar that closed earlier than we would expect i.e. before 10pm which we found very annoying.

The hotel is ideally positioned being close to the seafront and town centre. Bournemouth Square is within 5 minutes from where one can catch man buses serving the Bournemouth and surrounding areas.
The Manager and his staff were friendly and helpful, albeit they seemed a bit short-handed at times.
The breakfast cooked to order was very good although they let us down on our last day by not serving us in the restaurant.

I.do strongly recommend this place. Tina the host owner is a very nice lady she arranged everything for my very late checking in .. The staff are nice. Very clean place with free. Breakfast. Very close to the beach and shops pubs and night clubs. Tregonholme hotel is definitely my favorite hotel. Thank you Tina and the staff. Daniel Rignace. Bournemouth.

A great newly refurbished hotel in central Bournemouth.
It had the perfect terrace to relax in beautiful weather this weekend, made even better by the sun shining. Just a few minute walk to the beach and local shops.
Breakfast and Reception staff were super friendly, reminded us of how hospitality should be!! Looking forward to seeing you again in June.

It's not luxury but it's cheap, comfortable and perfectly OK. Don't know why everyone else complains about it. It is what it is. Go expecting the Ritz you'll be disappointed. If you want a hotel in the centre of Bournemouth right on the beach at a great price then this will suffice.
