Everything was excellent ♥️ Staff very friendly and helpful..especially Luisa, cause she helped me a lot for transport and explained a lot to me to get to the station etc… Breakfast very good and a wide variety to choose from, only 1 thing i expected that at least there will be fried eggs, but never mind on the whole it is a very good hotel and I recommend it a lot. Location perfect, although i had a leg injury and had to climb up the hill, but never mind accidents happen.

FAQs about hotels in Bournemouth

Sea Air and Savoir-Faire

Known for its sandy beaches and good nightlife, Bournemouth is a popular seaside resort on the Dorset coast between Poole and Christchurch.

The town is centred on the Bourne River, running downhill towards the sea by Bournemouth Pier. This pier looks back towards a promenade lined with beach huts at the foot of grassy cliffs. The promenade continues west to Poole, while a road goes east to neighbouring Boscombe, where anglers often fish from its pier. Overlooking it is a clifftop road housing some Bournemouth hotels with sea views.

Booking.com also offers hotels near the BIC – Bournemouth International Centre in the West Cliff area. This convention centre and music venue is a short walk from the Art Deco Pavilion Theatre, located next to the Lower Gardens. In this popular city park is the Bournemouth Eye, a tethered hot air balloon that offers far-reaching views.

At the park’s top end the river disappears under a large square, then emerges in the Central Gardens. Overlooking these gardens is the Victorian town hall, which used to be one of several spa hotels in Bournemouth. Opposite is a Grade I-listed church, and St Peter’s Church has the grave of Mary Shelley, author of ‘Frankenstein’.

On the outskirts of town, near 4 golf courses and the Castlepoint Shopping Centre, is Bournemouth Airport.

The area is lovely with a great beach which never seemed too crowded. Surprisingly in the height of the season we experienced at least 2 bars, one being a beach bar that closed earlier than we would expect i.e. before 10pm which we found very annoying.

Bournemouth it self is an excellent place to visit.

Bournemouth it self is an excellent place to visit. But unfortunately the pier amusement is one of the worse place to go to, as the security guards are perverts and pedophiles and the staff are muppets and to top all of them off the manager of that establishment does not care about the people just there income and profits

A great place to visit a lovely beach and we liked the oceanarium The pier was nice and a great place to have a meal. We walked down the hill from the Dolphin hotel through the shops and a park then it was a cheap rapid uber ride to return to our hotel. No need to use our rental car and loose our invaluable parking space.

Bournemouth has a beautiful beach and the sea is clean perfect for swimming or just relaxing. It has a variety of shops and lots of independent shops and stalls. Since my last visit a lot of shops have closed and there seems to be more antisocial behaviour in the centre. There is lots to do with the children from mini golf to rock climbing to the sea life centre and let’s not forget the arcade, make sure you bring plenty of money because everything has gone up and can be very pricey.

I like the hotel ,it has a regency charm and period character throughout. Our room was spacious and clean. We used the leisure facilities, which were lovely (although there is an additional charge of £5 pp to use them ) Some of the furnishings are dated in appearance but I don't think this detracted from our stay experience. The location on the Bournemouth beach front is superb and Sarvar (sorry if I've spelt your name wrong) and the rest of the staff were really helpful so all in all making for a very enjoyable overnight break.
