It was January when we stayed there for our wedding anniversary. We payed for a standard room which was OK and had all we expected but the radiator wasn't working so the manager gave us an upgrade to one with a working radiator. The room was a much bigger room with everything working well including the radiators. The bed was fantastic as was the room so grateful thanks to the Trouville hotel. Only one down side was the hotel restaurant was closed in the evening so we had to eat out but there are plenty of eating places within walking distance.
DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL. This is not a scam post iit is genuine and sincere. The hotel charged us an additional £12 for parking that was not apparent at the time of booking. We were charged £50 as a deposit for damages. This was not apparent at the time of booking either so in all a £32 n ight stay turned into a Freezing cold draughty gappy windowed tiny duvet and no extra blankets OR breakfast available as advertised on the website stay for £94:00. £32 jumped to £94 when we got there and the staff were sarchastic and offensive and attackingly defensive.
We enjoyed the seafront and walking was an easy option. Hotel based almost central to both Boscombe and Bournemouth piers. The area around the pier at Bournemouth had plenty to do and a nice gardens to walk through. Unfortunately there are alot of empty shops
Bournemouth used to be a place where one could go for a restful holiday. Now it is a bustling place with visitors plying for spaces on the beach. Plenty of accomodations available in all areas. Locations of interest easily attainable by walking or by bus, (use the daily bus ticket for convivence). Try and get out of the town and enjoy the surrounding countryside. West is the Jurassic coast and east is the New Forest. North is Stonehenge. Plenty to do.
Bournemouth has everything for a short break and was really Christmassy with the market and the Christmas tree illuminations. Very expensive for food and drink though and I would imagine if you were there for more than a couple of days with children, this would be an issue
Bournemouth has so much to offer beautiful beaches lovely gardens band stands . AND.................. THEN nothing in the town . Its a dump. No shops as such DEBENHAM. HOUSE OF FRAZER BEALS, All gone no Marks and Spencer. No next . Ect very sad .
I thought I was booking a hotel, rather than a room in a lodge, but that was fine. The room was clean, reception staff helpful, we didn't use house keeping but asked for extra milk and coffee from reception and that was no problem. We ate several times in the club house in the evening, not a really varied menu but good food cooked well and suited us fine. The pool was lovely, quiet when we used it. And about a half an hour walk into town/the beach. Okay to walk there but taxied back as it would have been all up hill!
I have been coming to Bournemouth for years, but never felt more at home at a hotel than at the Fairmount Hotel! The hotel is central, close to the ocean and the town Centre, with local shops and restaurants in walking distance. The rooms are always neat, tidy, and welcoming. The beds are comfortable, internet is great and the atmosphere is cosy and comfortable. And the best part about the hotel are the owners, who are caring, loving and heart-warming, and always go the extra mile to ensure you feel at home!
Bournemouth
Ged and Jane were very welcoming. They put Easter chocolate eggs on the bed for us, which was a really nice touch. -The room was exactly like the pictures! It was the cleanest room I've been in a bed& breakfast/hotel in the UK. The room was on the top floor, so it can be quite warm in the from time to time, but there is an air-conditioning unit! -Breakfast was lovely! -Locationwise, it's 5min walk from the Bournemouth train station. It takes something like 20-30min to walk to the city centre.
The hotel is modern, clean and just a short walk from the beach and town. Unlike some places we have stayed since covid, there were always staff on hand and they were very prompt and helpful. Very good breakfast included in the price, nice restaurant, and parking on site £12 overnight. We will definitely be staying again when we return to Bournemouth for a concert next year. Excellent value.
The breakfast was good, the customer service was excellent, and they always went above and beyond to help us. The room had a lot of natural light and could be easily blocked if needed. The kettle station provided was very useful and a nice comfort for the room. the location of the hotel was perfect, walking distance to the beach and to the town centre making travel easy.
Closure of the Heathlands Hotel resulted in us being transferred to The Royal Bath Hotel, Bournemouth. In view of our late rearrangements we were fortunate to get an upgrading to a fantastic room which overlooked the pier. Our stay was excellent in all respects so consequently have great pleasure in giving the hotel and staff a 5* rating. Bryan and Lynn Pickett.
I liked the eco credentials especially the room fan and being offered a summer sheet, the staff were very welcoming and helpful, the plentiful water and nice biscuits in the room. The location is ideal for me, near the buses and the beach Food in the restaurant delicious and different and the best coffee at any hotel in Bournemouth for breakfast!
Our room was very spacious, with a lovely view of the sea and walking distance to grand pier. Hotel is allocated on the sea front near Bournemouth city centre so "close to the action". Staff was polite and helpful. We've enjoyed our breakfast as well- lots to choose from.
For a really cheap hotel it was surprisingly good. It was very clean and the rooms were toasty warm which was nice as it was gale force winds and rain outside. The staff let us check-in early which was nice and allowed us to have a quick walk down the beach before dinner.
I loved this beautiful hotel in Bournemouth city centre. My room, bed, facilities, cleanliness, location, and value were all fabulous. I was staying alone and felt as comfortable and safe as if I were in my own home. Will book again when I travel to Bournemouth.
On arrival we got upgraded to one of the best rooms in the hotel. Amazing views of the beach, Very large room with two TVs, sofa, mini fridge. Bed was very comfy and staff were very friendly too. Will definitely stay here again when I come back to Bournemouth.
We had a lovely stay in this fantastic hotel with amazing view over Bournemouth bay, everything about the room was of great quality and the beds very comfortable! So convenient for the beach or town centre shops and restaurants.
Economy option with no thrills to it, one of the least expensive hotels available in Bournemouth at the time we booked. Basic rooms with minimal amenities, but exactly what we expected and suited our stay well.
Great value hotel a short walk from Bournemouth seafront. Lovely staff, spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds. Would not hesitate to stay again.
great location, 10 mins walk into town. I e stayed at lots of hotels in Bournemouth and this is bar far the best of them
The only positive about this hotel is the location. It's quite close to the main part of Bournemouth.
