The Dolphin Hotel Public House was a wonderful find! A few lovely rooms above a nice pub just steps from Weymouth train station, the centre of the town, and seafront. Wow to all three things you need! From the moment we arrived Linda and Alan were welcoming, friendly, kind, and helpful. The rooms were fresh and very clean (every morning too!). And the wifi was exceptional! We loved this place, and when we come back to Weymouth again, the Dolphin will be our first choice!

If I'm staying in a hotel in Weymouth, I always try here (as do other colleagues). I liked: - My room (single with sea view). - Location. - Cleanliness / decor. - Friendly staff. - Breakfast. - Easy check-in and out. - Value for Money. P.s. I park about 5 min walk away in the Swannery Just Park car park. P.P.S. I didn't spend any time in the evening in the bar area or restaurant this time, but people looked cheerful. I have done in the past.

Great location. Couldn't believe how quiet it was, despite there being a pub/restaurant next door. Building was lovely and the room and bathroom were very well presented. Chickerell is a great jumping off point, for the centre of Weymouth + Portland, and the private, off road parking. is a fantastic bonus, given that many hotels/b&bs in Weymouth don't have access to this.

The staff was friendly--they helped me take my luggage upstairs and let me keep the luggage. The bedding was clean and the bed comfortable--a nice balance between hard and soft. The sea-side decor lightened up the room--and the room stayed dark into late morning. The hotel is a minute from the beautiful Weymouth town beach and it takes just five minutes to walk to a great restaurant.

Fabulous hostess and characterful rooms and decor. The location was perfect, right near the beach and easy walking into the lovely seaside town of Weymouth. The hostess was friendly and helpful and made my stay memorable. Breakfasts were fantastic with everything you would expect with a full English. Loved the place.

Jonathan and Karen were excellent hosts. The location of Gloucester House is very convenient - it is close to both the Weymouth train station and the Weymouth beach. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options for mix and match. The room was cozy and clean. I had a wonderful time at Gloucester House.

If you are looking for a cheap hotel near the seafront this is the one. Less than 5 minutes from both the sea and the train station and only 10 or so to the harbourside. The room is perfect fro if you really only need your hotel to be somewhere you can sleep, shower, and use the toilet.

the apartment was perfect for our 5 night stay and much better than a hotel. it had everything we needed. was the perfect location in Weymouth and only a 5 minute walk from the car park with permit provided. we didn’t want to leave and would definitely go back

Everything about the Redcliff was amazing. The location was perfect, John and Sue were incredibly nice, the housekeeping and support was lovely, and I truly enjoyed my stay. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Weymouth.

Located very close to beach, main town also nearby. Lovely to get somewhere with parking. Extremely welcoming hosts, best breakfast I have ever had staying in a hotel. Hospitality tray with plenty on offer

Lovely clean hotel...very nice and polite staff especially front of house...loads of tea and coffee in the room..bonus ....great breakfast great food...beds comfortable...and it's quiet...

Very comfortable hotel in an excellent location at a good price. Rooms well presented and staff very friendly and accommodating. Plenty of car parking a few minutes away.

The hotel is in a good location, with parking located round the back. The spa bath was great. We were in the annexe with a separate coded entrance.

Great breakfast! Great staff! Just loved this hotel
