The helpful staff. The excellent food. The peaceful atmosphere . The music night. Sue went beyond her job to help me with my phone, it was a new one . Helped me up and down the front steps as I am handicapped and use a walker. The room was comfortable and I enjoyed the tea supply.

We like the fact it was close to the railway station, we left the fight the ocean was right across the street.

We loved walking along the beach with our dogs and enjoying the sea, sand and believe it or not for mid November we had sunshine and I took a dip in the sea. We met some lovely groups of women who meet and swim in the sea all year round. The locals are friendly.

We love Weymouth and have stayed many times, it is a very clean well kept town, so lovely by the harbour and the seafront, always see people working hard on the gardens, keeping everywhere clean and collecting the rubbish. Just beautiful.

I travelled to Weymouth for a few days back in May, enjoyed it that much that I returned again this week. The beach is beautiful, as is the harbour. Greenhill Gardens is lovely and just across the road from there is Lodmoor Park, the Sand Sculptures and Sea Life… it was a sunny afternoon when I arrived so I went for a wander around Lodmoor …lovely and quiet as it was Monday afternoon, I found myself sat in peace just watching squirrels! There is a land train to get around on and boat trips which leave from the Harbour. And for the evenings the Pavillion has some good entertainment. It rained one morning and I found myself walking around the shops, I quite enjoyed wandering around, and finding artisan shops along the side streets, well worth a visit. I found Weymouth easy to get around and will be returning again.
