My partner and I walked up to the golden cap, walked from Lyme Regis to seaton and went to the dinoirsaurland museum. We also had dinner at a great restaurant called the harbour inn. Can definitely recommend to others

Typical South West coastal location with a picturesque town filled with quaint shops, pubs and eating places in narrow streets. A lovely walk along the seafront and if you have time a nice riverside walk and of course also the Jurassic coast to explore.
Great opportunities for interesting walks.
Great opportunities for interesting walks. Amazing to think that you could pick up fossils on the beach. The walk to Charmouth was rough but so exciting.
The walk up the river to Uplyme and past the viaduct was delightful.
We didn’t like the mud on the steps by the undercliffs.
We had a lovely lunch at ‘The Good Food Store’.

It's lovely at Lyme Regis but it's very hilly so be prepared. Lots of restaurants, pubs and little shops and walks and a great beach too. We had fish and chips by the harbour and we also ate in the pub by the harbour which had a great menu.
Nice for a weekend break we went on the local bus to Bridport on market day which was nice. Then we drove to Sidmouth which was lovely.
A great place.
Lovely old town, much to see.
Lovely old town, much to see. Had a brilliant organised fossil walk with geologists from the Lyme Regis Museum. The waterfront is wonderful, lovely places to eat. Amonites everywhere. Would love to return.
“It's a 17th century building, so be prepared for low ceilings and uneven floors. Easy walking distance into the centre of Lyme Regis and the sea. Beautiful private garden. Good selection at breakfast, with hot options all cooked fresh, served in a pleasant light and airy room. Our room had a lovely view down to the bay. ”
“Everything about what is more like a boutique hotel than a guest house was great. Room, towels, toiletries, breakfast - all faultless PLUS the host ensured that the rooms all possessed something a little special. Highly recommended.”
