Every member of the team were absolutely brilliant they made our holiday magical from arrival to departure. The accommodation was very clean and very comfortable the quality of the food was brilliant. This may only be a 2 star hotel but should be 5 star plus. I would strongly recommend the Mariners Hotel to anyone and everyone

Michelle provided some tea, coffee, sugar, milk, biscuits as well as toiletries for us which I thought was a wonderfully thoughtful addition. The apartment was exceptionally well kept too.

Lyme Regis is a stunning town with everything you need right on your doorstep. Always immaculately maintained and clean and tidy - if you get up early you can see the beach being cleaned every morning. Lovely restaurants, coffee shops, and typical seaside businesses. I have been visiting Lyme for many years, it is my go-to for a relaxing break in one of the most stunning areas of the UK.

Lyme Regis is a very beautiful little town and very clean, even the beach is cleaned daily. Loads of places to eat and drink on sea front, couple of places to stay that are reasonable. Not a great deal of things to do in town but easy access to other places. Quiet hilly place so might be difficult for the infirm.
Fantastic restaurants, lovely interesting shops, fresh bread, bagals baguettes etc for breakfast. Beach perfect at 83 I couldn't resist a paddle. People wonderful extremely helpful. Chinese takeaway. Beautiful Indian restaurant, lovely fish and chips and a great Thai restaurant. There are lots of interesting cafes. We also managed to buy a spectacle repair kit. No high street shops except for Tesco Express which was open first thing in the morning to after 10pm.

An interesting place to stay and also a great base for visiting attractions within a 20 mile drive. Shops for food if self catering were basic although had all that was required. Restaurants were well catered for with a mixture of prices.

Beautiful walks along the Jurassic coast. Wonderful light. Lots of places to eat etc, if very overpriced. unless you call 10 pounds for a toasted sandwich in an average cafe a fair price. Beautiful sea views and walks. The whole place has a special and magical atmosphere.

Lyme Regis is a lovely town on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset.
Lyme Regis is a lovely town on the Jurassic Coast in Dorset. The scenery is wonderful, as are the beaches. The area is famous for its fossils, and ammonites can be found while walking on the rocky beaches by the cliffs. Lyme is also famous for being the town where paleontologist Mary Anning lived and worked. There are excellent pubs and restaurants.
Fantastic hotel with lovely boutique bedrooms. Staff were excellent. Great attentive service and worked really hard throughout our stay to ensure everything was perfect. Loved sitting on the terrace in the evening (nice touch to have blankets provided) with a glass of wine, looking out to sea. Great location in the centre of town with lovely views.
The location was so close to Lyme Regis. The staff on site were extremely helpful with giving directions to local pubs and beaches. The Pool was warm and clean and the accommodation was immaculate. Lovely holiday. Thank you for the treat bag on arrival. Would highly recommend.
The property is neat and well presented, and the owners were really friendly and helpful. Our room was pleasant and comfortable and the hotel was conveniently located, just outside of Lyme Regis.
Nice hotel conveniently placed for Lyme Regis Town and beach with its own parking available. Its on a steep hill above the town so be aware if you have mobility issues.
