Set in the beautiful Axe valley, only 5 minutes by car from River Cottage HQ and Lyme Regis, Netherleigh offers our Snug room. It is as the name suggest compact & bijou, with a lovely decked balcony with table & chairs to enjoy your own private outdoor space. Whether you enjoy the stunning country view, watching the sunset or reading a good book with a glass of wine. Your room has a double bed with en-suite shower, table & chairs & a large smart T.V. It has all the facilities you need with utensils, plates, glasses & corkscrew with a microwave, toaster, kettle & fridge for your convenience. The local pub, with home cooked food and local ales and beers, is 15 minutes’ walk away. Netherleigh is situated only a 6-minute drive from River Cottage Canteen & River Cottage HQ at Park Farm. The property is less than 5 miles from Lyme Regis and Charmouth Beach, which form the Jurassic Coast.

Sue & John welcome you to netherleigh. co. uk our family run Devon Bed and Breakfast in Axminster in an area of outstanding natural beauty & only 4 miles from Lyme Regis & River Cottage HQ & River Cottage Canteen. We have been running Netherleigh for 11 years now and we have worked hard to build up a good reputation, in fact we have the highest feedback in our area. Our Snug room has stunning views over the Axe Valley and is close to the borders of Dorset & Somerset making it a perfect base to explore.
We have been happily married for 18 years and met when we were 18. We have always love to travel and spent many nights staying in B&B's. We have tried to take the best bits from them and put them into our B&B.
Our B&B is in Cooks lane which is a quiet country lane with stunning views over the Axe Valley. We are just a 5 minute drive to either River Cottage HQ or River Cottage canteen made famous by T.Vs Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall, We are only a 10 minute drive to Lyme Regis beach which is a beautiful seaside town with lots of shops, restaurants and a stunning beach. We are also 10 minutes from Charmouth another beautiful village with a stunning beach famous for fossils. Also the seaside town of Seaton & Beer is only a 15 minute drive. With lots of walks in the area, beaches, shops & restaurants we have something to do in all weathers.
