Great location as a base for visiting Bamburgh,Sea Houses and Cragside. Off road parking very welcome feature as was the wine and chocolates upon arrival. We ate out each night but the kitchen is ideal for self catering if required. All in all an ideal booking with good communications from the owner

Pintail Apartment is set in the charming town of Bamburgh and within 15 minutes’ walk of the beach and 11th-century castle. It offers a modern, well-equipped apartment with free WiFi throughout. Pintail Apartment has attractive décor with pleasant, colourful finishes. The living room has a flat-screen TV, a DVD player and 2 sofas. The kitchen includes a microwave, fridge, oven, toaster, hob and a washing machine. The nearest café and restaurant are within 0.5 miles of the apartment and shops can be found in the town centre. The Northumberland coastline and Farne Islands are ideal for observing wildlife, and you can spot species including puffins, seals and whales. You can go walking, horse riding and golfing in the surrounding area. The famous Alnwick Castle, where the Harry Potter films were made, is a 30-minute drive away. Lindisfarne and the Holy Island are within 16 miles of the apartment.

Pintail is a very spacious 2 bedroom apartment. There is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. The lounge has 2 very comfy settees and is a wonderful place to relax. It is not on a main road so is very quiet which is great if you want a decent nights sleep.
If you like being near the sea like I do, then this is the perfect location for you and your guests as it is only a 10 minute walk to the beach and the beautiful imposing Bamburgh Castle is on the beach. I like being in a location where you are able to walk to local restaurants and bars, so Pintail is ideal for this as it is only a 5 minute walk to the beautiful village of Bamburgh. If you choose to stay at Pintail you won't be dissapointed, we have one of the most beautiful coastlines in Northumberland. We would love to welcome you so you can see for yourself what a beautiful place Bamburgh is. Judith (owner of Pintail)
Bamburgh is a very friendly Village. It has some great places to eat and if you like fish and chips my favourite place is The Victoria Hotel, they make hand cut chips and beer battered fish which should really be called Whale as they are huge! my friend and I normally share a portion there and if it is a Friday they even offer Fizzy Friday so you can get 2 small bottles of Prosecco for a reduced rate a lovely addition to the fish and chips. Twice a year on the last bank holiday in May and August, Bamburgh host their famous Bamburgh fair which is in the centre of the village. The fair is amazing and has about 100 stalls selling everything from home made cakes to local art and crafts, beautiful jewellery and much much more, so if you happen to be staying at Pintail during these fairs they are definately worth a visit.
