River View is a newly renovated cottage located in the village of Lazonby, which is in the heart of the Eden Valley and the perfect cosy location to relax and explore the Lake District. One bedroom has a king-sized bed and the other has two single beds. There is a utility attached to the kitchen and a wood-burning stove in the lounge. The garden has a patio with a table and chairs and looks out onto neighbouring fields and countryside.
If you want advice on the local area, hill walking & cycling routes please get in touch. We spend our free time walking and cycling in the lakes and we are always happy to recommend routes.
Lazonby is a beautiful village in the heart of the Eden Valley. Lazonby is on the Settle-Carlisle railway line and the cottage is a 5 minute walk from the train station. Lazonby has an open air pool which is open through the spring and summer months and is accessible within a minute of walking out of the house. There is an abundance of walks and footpaths from the doorstep and a children play park. There is a pub in the village and two pubs in the neighbouring village which is 1 mile away and easily walkable. All of the pubs serve food. There is good sized Co-Op in the village which also has a library and a post office in it. Lazonby is a short drive away from the central Lake District and surrounding fells. Lazonby is a 15 minute drive away from Penrith which has a variety of supermarkets, shops, cafe's and restaurants.
