Having booked and paid for bed and breakfast on arrival we were told by a caretaker that there was no breakfast. No refund offered. No room cleaning undertaken. It should be closed down. A disgrace.

You can’t fault the quality of this family business- excellent food, immaculate kitchen, traditional, clean and comfortable rooms. I wasn’t sure to be honest and I was very pleasantly surprised how good The Bear is, in every respect.
