Did not stay for breakfast due to Wife’s illness. Took ill previous nand 111 sent emergency ambulance which did not arrive until 4.30am. Arrangements for reception oh help and ambulance most unsatisfactory. Given the emergency the night manager was most unhelpful and worst fear realised when ambulance could not gain entry on stormy night Cool and were just caught by me as they wee about to leave. Night manager would not agree to await arrival of ambulance and did not help to put arrange a reception to ensure ambulance was given entry and ability to contact me. Fortunately I managed to stay awake and just happened to hear a noise which alerted me and I was able to open the window a little to shout and stop them leaving. The ambulance crew were excellent and dealt with our emergency but they thought the an early departure to get medical assistance near home was better than admitting my wife to hospital in Bristol which is what they would have done normally. You may call me if you want to follow this up.

Clevedon is a wonderful traditional coastal town.
Clevedon is a wonderful traditional coastal town. It would probably be a little too quiet for younger visitors but for myself and my wife, in our 60's it provides a very tranquil, relaxing atmosphere with nice welcoming pubs and restaurants.

Clevedon is a lovely quaint seafront with beautiful coastal walks and inviting salt pools. The poets walk is so picturesque and the coastal walk to Ladye Bay is pretty too. The Victorian pier is pretty and the glass restaurant is well worth a visit - yummy food and pretty inside. There are a couple of lovely pubs with beautiful sea views while you enjoy a drink or a bite to eat. The Little Harp and the Salt house bar as well as the glass restaurant on the pier and a few others. I will definitely go back for another visit. It is very easy to get around Clevedon seafront it has a wide promenade and lots of benches along the way if you fancy a rest or just sit and watch the world go by or just look at the sea view.LigiaUnited Kingdom - 8.0Scored 8.0

Clevedon is a lovely place to visit if you prefer a quieter less commercialised spot. There are walks if you have a dog although they are not allowed on the main beach and a park and play area for children. The marine lake for swimming and a Grade 1 pier. There are several pubs and places to eat. The beach is stony so not the traditional sandy area you would expect. Everything is within walking distance.DeirdreUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Clevedon is a wonderful place to visit, with it's beautiful Victorian pier and sea front, it is like stepping back in time. There are plenty of good cafes and an outdoors infinity pool, if you are feeling brave. There is also a great community book shop with floors of interesting reads. But, of course don't miss the amazing pier, which has a great restaurant and also a café at the pier end.SarahUnited Kingdom

We had asked for a quiet space and this was certainly respected and we very much appreciated this, especially as a large party were visiting the hotel. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful and the hotel looked beautiful as ever. We also found a coastal path to Ladye bay, which was lovely and easily reached from the hotel. This is a 3 star hotel so dont expect wonderful facilities or decor. They have done their best with the building they have. Everything was perfectly functinal and clean - I'd say one up on Premier Inn. Again fantastic views from the bar where we ate on the Sunday evening.
