One of the few hotels etc in the area which didn't allow pets, which was good, so a real plus. Hotel was very easy to find and not far to walk into the town, which was handy as breakfast wasn't available, but was still a very good price.

Watton is a lovely little village with everything you need within a short walk from the property. Tesco’s, cafes, bakery, takeaways and smaller convenience stores make up the high street for Watton and for motorcycle enthusiasts, there’s even a Triumph dealership!

The High Street has a good selection of shops, - not full of charity shops like so many other Norfolk towns, a great little museum in the town hall, there are a couple of pubs, parking on the main road outside the shops was easy and free, there is a fair bit of history in the town, check out the 340 year old clock tower building... visit the site of the old airfield and memorial, then maybe use Watton as a base to set out from to visit the nearby towns of Swaffham, Dereham and maybe even Norwich.

We went to this location to make a "sentimental journey" back to my husbands mother's roots. He also went to school here for a brief time when he was 8 years old. The little museum was charming & answered many of our questions about the area. One of the docents there, George, was happy to provide us with additional information. There's not much here for the tourist to buy but there is an incredible and fascinating antique clock store in the center of town. The owner here was also happy to share his knowledge & history of the area. The town was much as my husband remembered and the people were friendly and welcoming.

The cottage is super well equipped. You will find everything you might need even torches for an evening walk. The little fire place (easy to light because it is gas oven) makes it even more comfortable. The neighbour is very friendly and there is a nice little pub within walking distance. Watton has a nice bakery and everything else you can buy in Tescos. We loved it there and might consider coming back to Watton and the Willow Cottage on our next trip to England.

Great accommodation, good shower and brilliant facilities in the room. We had dinner and the food was fabulous! We also ordered the cooked breakfast which was also brilliant (we just didn't have a big enough appetite unfortunately). Room had fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave .. and continental breakfast included which was lovely. Location suited us because we were walking the Peddars Way national trail which passes close to Watton.

Situated at the western edge of Watton, which makes it an ideal, centrally located base of operations for exploring the many attractions and historical sites in Norfolk and Suffolk. Has a large open area for parking cars or recreational vehicles (including a charging point for EVs), which definitely can't be said for the majority of properties we considered. We stayed for a fortnight (exactly 2 weeks) and couldn't have been happier.

Lovely Hotel in the High Street therefore very close to amenities and a 10 minute walk to see my family. Beautiful room with little extras added such as breakfast cereals, toast, yoghurt and juice at no extra charge and a microwave and fridge provided .. lovely and clean .. staff friendly and very helpful .. food absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced .. would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending The Willow House.

Lovely rooms behind a traditional British pub on the edge of Watton town. Very quiet location, pub food was great, owner and staff very friendly and helpful. Keys for each room were yours to keep for the week so no need to stop by a desk each time you come and go which was appreciated. nice simple free breakfast included, hot breakfast and dinner available in the pub.

The staff were super helpful and friendly. The bed was extremely comfortable and it was great value for money. I was let down by a different hotel in the area and booked this on the 30 minutes before arriving and was extremely happy that I was able to book here instead. Would 100% recommend this property to anyone planning to stay in the area.
