It was so easy to get checked in, very clear check-in instructions given and directions to the site. The pod itself is absolutely lovely inside with comfy bed, fan (which was needed as it was a super hot Summer's evening), tea/coffee making facilities, little couch and outdoor seating. BBQ's available to use. The 'Fridge Shack' is a handy little shed with a couple of fridges in so we stored our BBQ food whilst we popped into York then came back on the evening to have a BBQ. There's also utensils you can borrow/kitchen roll etc. York city centre was a 15 minute drive away, this site is a really good location and they have a huge cafe there too, as we arrived a little early we had a coffee and some food beforehand.

These luxury, adult-only camping pods offer cozy self-catering accommodations just 3 miles from the historic center of York. The overhanging shops of The Shambles and the magnificent York Minster are just a short drive away. The Little Hide camping pods all contain a zip-link bed with under-bed storage, a sofa, and a heater. Each pod also comes with a coffee table and a kettle for making hot drinks. Bedding is provided, but guests are required to bring their own towels. The toilet and shower block is just a short walk from the pods. There are laundry facilities on site, and the farm shop and café can supply takeaway breakfasts. The property has a discount and voucher scheme for guests wishing to have the breakfasts. There is a barbecue area and an on-site bus stop, with a regular bus service into the city. There is plenty of outdoor space and a nearby wooded area for taking a stroll.
