The Old Rectory is owned by a young enthusiastic couple. We both love the challenge of running the guesthouse welcoming a fantastic variety of people into our home. We both live very active lifestyles, and can make many recommendations of things to see and do while you visit the area or are travelling onwards.

Property info

The Old Rectory is a large red sandstone family home situated on a quiet street with the seafront at our front door, spectacular views of the river Clyde, Cumbrae island and the countryside to the back of the town. The Old Rectory is a newly modernised guesthouse, boasting many of its original features and beautiful antique furniture to compliment its era. There is a private garden guests are welcome to use. Across our quiet street is an extensive promenade stretching the length of the town out to Largs Yacht Haven in one direction and to a beautiful park to the opposite end of our street. It will take you just 5minutes to walk into the town centre or to the ferry terminal. Off street parking is available on a first come basis for a few cars, however street parking is quiet and not charged.

Neighborhood info

The Old Rectory is next door to a Scottish Episcopalian church and its large private grounds. We are based on a quiet no through street with a beautiful park at the end of this. Within the park is a small play area for kids, woodland, Noddleburn river and a boating pond where you can see small operated yachts at the weekends. Our neighbourhood is all privately owned upmarket houses to reflect the area.
