The property has access to the site pool which is open daily between 10-1730 and bookable at the reception desk upon your arrival or at anytime during your stay. The Summer House sits a short walk across the road from Loch Ryan which boasts idyllic views and a walk along the shore line will take you all the way into the local town, Stranraer. The Summer House is perfect for a young family holiday close to home or to anyone who enjoys the outdoors and is in seek of some peaceful relaxation.

Stranraer swimming pool has excellent facilities for children as well as a full length pool and seperated lanes for adult swimming. It also has a large kids play area as well as a long walkway along the shoreline. Mull of Galloway, Scotlands most southernlely point, is a fantastic day out with plenty of visitor attractions as well as a coffee house cafe and restaurant. Port Logan Fish pond is a very rare and interesting visit which is a must see if you are new to the area, in the summer months keep your eyes peeled on the drive out towards the sea for dolphins and seals frequently visit the area. Aldouran Wetlands Gardens and Woodland Trails offers children and adults alike to view many different species of local wildlife and just a 5 minute drive from The Summer House it is a very worthwhile trip.
