This property is one of the oldest built in Mestia, directly in front of the house there's an old Svan house which was built more than 200 years ago, sadly it didn't maintain it's original form but it's still easy to make out it's remains. In our yard we have the infamous ''twin tree'' and at the bottom of the tree you will see a stone, this stone was used in older times for making gun powder in Svaneti. From our yard you will also see a beautiful church and it's background covered by beautiful Caucasus mountains. Our home is special and unique in many ways, it's hard to put every single reason why that is into words.
In general Mestia is full of tourists, almost everyone has a guesthouse. I made an official guest house after some unofficial visitors, which i fell in love with. every single guest is an adventure, i love my guests and meeting new people. I know French,English and Russian because of that it's not hard communicating with visitors. Me and my family are extremely hospitable like other Georgian people. Of course I've met visitors who don't follow the house's rules and are disrespectful, but straight after that i will meet people who are so good that, they make me forget all about the bad experiences. I meet a lot of good people, thanks to my guest house.
The neighborhood is near the center and one of the oldest neighborhood in Mestia. Almost everyone around has a guest house, because of that they know how to act when we have visitors. Neighbors are good and respectful people. Neighborhood in general will be filled with happiness and good vibes, children playing in the streets or neighbors yards will make you feel good. Soon as you walk into our neighborhood you will see what i mean. Close to our neighborhood there's a Svanetian Museum, Svanetian mineral water, Stadium and a cable car to a ski resort. We live in the center of Mestia so everything is near to our neighborhood.
