A beautiful spacious villa with a luxury feel. We were made to feel very welcome by the villa hosts and any questions were quickly answered. Katerina welcomed us with a tour of the villa and we were treated to homemade cakes on our departure which were delicious! Our family enjoyed all the facilities (hot tub, sauna, swimming pool, pool table, gym etc.) and particularly enjoyed being able to cook and eat outside in the lovely pool house. A car is recommended to visit lots of places of interest (we found Rethymno very charming with great places to eat and only approx. 20 mins drive from the villa). Other places we enjoyed included Margarites Pottery village, Melidoni Cave, Knossos and Chania. We stayed in late October and found the weather still to be warm enough but not too hot plus the tourist attractions were not as crowded. The villa was however the highlight of our stay and we highly recommend it for a relaxing holiday which can be enjoyed by families of all ages.

Aelia Residence is a newly build Villa in which guests can revel in the experience of intimate and luxurious hospitality. Aelia retains the unique Cretan features, a stylish interior design and flawless decor befitting of a unique luxury home. - Pool operates seasonally (end of March - middle of November) - Air conditioning units serve heating purposes. *Accommodation cost Excludes: Resilience Tax 10,00 per villa per night. This is not included in the platform prices and shall be paid, upon check in.

Neighborhood info

Aelia Residence is located in the wonderful village of Prinos, offering a great location, as you have the opportunity to visit all the well-known beaches and sightseeing spots of Rethymno with your car, taking only 5 to 20 minutes maximum. Guests can find a beautiful sandy beach, located in Skaleta area, which is only 15 minutes away on foot. Also, in Skaleta there are all the shops that you might need, such as super markets, taverns, cafes, small shops, an ATM machine, a petrol station and various other facilities. A bus stop with regular itineraries can also be found there. Also in Sfakaki and Stavromenos, which are just 6 minutes driving you will find a super market, a bakery, a butcher’s shop and a pharmacy. Prinos village is among olive and orange trees and offers an amazing view of Psiloritis mountain, as well as unique sea views! Additionally, wonderful nature surroundings are at very close distance…you can visit Arkadi monastery, Anogia, Argyroupoli, Kournas lake, Matala, Knossos and a lot of other places that are nearby. Definitely you have plenty of choices and chances to experience moments that will be memorable to you!
