AVA Hotel Apartments & Suites

Location. Staff. Very clean with comfortable beds. Quiet.

I chose this hotel based upon its excellent central location within easy walking distance to the Acropolis and the world-class, "not to be missed" new Museum in central Athens. I'd booked a suite, as my husband & I were travelling with out teenage daughter. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a luxury suite and we revelled in the separate bedroom, huge and extremely comfy bed, generous and comfortable living room and handy kitchenette. Both rooms had sliding door access to a little balcony over the street, which was quiet even at night. We walked everywhere, with a huge variety of lively restaurants, tavernas, shops, cafes & bars in the surrounding blocks. Sevice was professional and friendly & the location proved to be ideal. We'll be back!!

The only room for improvement would be to include breakfast in the room rate and not charge separately for it.

I can't say enough about the hotel staff. They speak English fluently and were so welcoming and helpful! AVA is within walking distance to everything we wanted to do in Athens. It is in a very safe and convenient area - I loved being able to step out the door and walk to whatever I wanted.

I cannot think of a single thing I didn't like.

location was outstanding, quiet and the staff very helpful. We chose AVA after researching on tripadvisor.com and and those very positive reviews are accurate. I can't imagine choosing another hotel.

We stayed there on two occassions. The first time the staff was great, personable and accomodating. The internet connection was decent, the location was great, right next to the sites, restuarants and avis if you need to rent a car. The room was neat and the King sized bed was very plush and comfortable.

The second time we stayed they were having problems with their internet provider so none of the rooms had a connection.

Bathroom is poor, there is even no lock on the door. It's ridiculous to inform my parents that I'm using the toilette. My daughter almost slippered in the shower.
