Casa dei Spinoula is part of Apartments Spinoula. This restored Corfiot house was originally built in the 20th century and was renovated in 2016. The two bedrooms are equipped with anatomical mattresses, ideal to relax. The living area is comfortable and bright thanks to the large windows and the sofa can be converted into a double bed. Up to 6 guests can be accommodated. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances for the preparation of your meals and a dining area to enjoy them. The decoration of Casa dei Spinoula has been done in pastel and earthy tones and for the furnishings modern items and restored antiques have been chosen. The characteristic of the house is the extensive use of natural materials such as wood, stone and cotton. Casa dei Spinoula is located in Kanalia. Kanalia means ‘channels’ and it is said that the area took its name from a channel that was constructed here during the venetian period and which is saved only as a legend. Then Kanalia was considered as ‘borgos’, which in venetian dialect meant settlement neighboring the town of Corfu. Today, Kanalia has evolved into a modern vivid neighborhood with easy access on cafes, bakeries, restaurants and supermarkets. The area is close to the airport (2 km), the historical center of Corfu town (3.0 km) and Mon Repos and Pontikonisi in Kanoni(3,5km). The nearest bus stop is 350 m away and there is a pharmacy at the same distance. Except from having everything you might need at a close distance the neighborhood is quit and safe. Being geographically at the middle of the north and the south Corfu you would have the opportunity to explore the whole island!
