I liked everything in CasaTholari Al Mare (haven't said this for many places) Antonia was the perfect hostess graciously helping us and meeting all our needs and making any changes we asked for. Bottles of wine offered upon arrival and the coffee maker for that first morning coffee was great, good breakfast with the changes we asked for.The rooms was exceptionally clean, the bathroom shower excellent, fluffy towels and bathrobes. The fridge fully stocked.All in all a great experience ,I would definitely recommend Casa Tholari to everyone.

As I got off the ferry and approached the place where I was going to stay, I saw the landlord waiting for me in front of the door. First, he showed me the house and told me about its features. Then I received a hospitality I haven't seen in recent years. When I entered the room, fresh cookies and wine greeted me. Then he told me that I was hungry because I had traveled a long way and so he invited me to his house for lunch. He and his wife prepared very delicious food and we ate it together. On the other days, they did not lack any interest and attention. I have never seen anything like this before. Regarding my room; a very old building designed in such a beautiful way. Towels and sheets were all first class. It was extremely clean. It is in the heart of the harbor and very close to the beach and restaurants. The kitchen has all the equipment you need to meet all your needs. I would recommend it to those who are thinking of making a reservation without hesitation.

The property is a great historic building, perfectly renovated with stylish modern furniture - and it is in the very best location near the port on the little promenade. Despite this location, the apartment is very quiet and even bright. All facilities (shower, washing machine etc. ) state-of-art.

Very well designed; nice and cool inside even if it’s burning hot outside. Beautiful, spacious interior. The bed is super comfortable, WiFi was really good (which was important for us as we were both working during the travel).

This has been one of the best accommodations in a long time. It is situated directly at the port of Astypalea which is perfect for the ferry and also perfect for restaurants. Andonia is the soul of the place and welcomed us so heartwarmingly friendly. She even brought us a picnic basket with breakfast in the morning. It is a lively place and you feel directly as part of the town. Beautiful, modern and open place - very comfortable bed. Fully equipped with kitchen ware - we wished we could have stayed longer as you can come down as soon as you arrive here! Amazingly friendly people. We will be back! Underestimated island - this is the place to stay at!
