DIMAEL MANSION is located in Kontochori, 5 minutes walk from the capital of Santorini. It is a neoclassical mansion built in the 19th century as the residence of the island’s then doctor. It was renovated in winter 2021, and the building’s exterior was maintained unchanged; 50cm-thick walls built mainly out of black lava and Santorini land (volcanic ash), a marble-decorated façade, and vaulted ceilings inside. A distinctive element of the façade is the marble coat of arms depicting a two-headed eagle and the owner’s initials, which bear the date 1878. The building has been through minor, though subtle, architectural interventions combining its aristocratic aura with modern aesthetics, and it has been separated into three independent lodgings-suites: the BLUE SUITE, the RED SUITE and the WHITE SUITE

Just 5 minutes walk from downtown Kontochori village is a very relaxed, quiet, and traditional neighborhood. The local shops and restaurants are all within walking distance so if you don't want to venture far from the mansion, you don't have to. All public transportation, museums famous shopping streets and nightlife is just a few steps away. When you want to travel in comfort, you'll be delighted to learn that one private roundtrip transfer from/to port or airport can be arranged for your stay.
