Happy Villa enjoys a blend of panoramic views of the sea, Ag. Theodori island, Chania town and the ‘Lefka Ori’ mountains. It is owned, designed and built by two architects who have discretely created a modern premise with attention to detail and high quality standards. Consists of a ground floor, a first floor, an attic and a basement. A lot of balconies surround the villa. In more detail on the ground floor there is the living and dining room area, the kitchen and one WC. On the first floor there are three bedrooms. One of them has a double bed and an en suite bathroom. The other two have two single beds each and share one more bathroom that there is also on the first floor. Every bedroom has its own balcony. At the higher level of the villa there is a beautiful attic with superb views. At the attic there is one bedroom with two single beds, one shower room, one WC and living room with a kitchenette which can also accommodate two people at its sofa bed. At the basement of the house there is gym room, a bathroom, a laundry room and a two space closed car park. It is equiped with floor heating so it is superb in winter as well.
My name is Vagelis Polatos and together with my wife Niki we own and manage Happy Villa. I am an Architect and in 2016 my wife and I decided to put all of our effort to create Happy Villa with very high standards in terms of design and quality as if it would be our home and at the same time a very good sample of my work. Our wish and efforts are to meet our guests needs and make them happy staying in our villa.
Galatas is a well known quiet village with reach history and one of the oldest villages in Greece. Is has a great advantageous position as it is close to the city centre and the venetian harbor as well as close to the most popular sandy beaches of Chania. The closest sandy beach is in a distance of 1 Km from happy villa. A number of convenient shops and services (mini market, pharmacy, taverns, bus station) exist in the neighborhood at a walking distance of less than 5 min. The location is great if you want to explore the island, as it is within a few minutes drive from the national road which can lead you to the famous beaches of Elafonisi, Balos, Falassarna and the Samaria Gorge.
