Wir wurden herzlich von Elena der Vermieterin begrüßt. Die Vermieterin stand mit uns per WhatsApp ständig in Kontakt und uns wurde bei jeder Frage immer schnell geholfen. Außerdem hat Sie uns zur Begrüßung einen Riesen Korb mit Obst & Gemüse geschenkt und uns zwischendurch mit griechischen Leckereien überrascht. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt und liegt fantastisch ca. 8km vom Strand entfernt auf einem Berg. Die Aussicht ist Mega. Ein Leihwagen ist aber ein muss. Das eine Nachbarhaus ist überhaupt nicht störend. Das im Oktober durch das Nachbarhaus der Pool (nur der Pool) ab 17:00 Uhr beschattet ist, hat uns nicht gestört. Den Sonnenuntergang von der TERRASSE aus beobachten ist Romantik pur. Die Villa ist auf jeden Fall zu 100% empfehlen.

Hello there, I am Manos, owner and manager of CreteVillas4U. I have been in the hospitality sector long before CreteVillas4U, however. I was actually born, grew up, and spent most of my life in a hotel owned by my family. So, I guess it came as no surprise when I expressed my wish to study in Rhodes’ Tourism School and, later on, when I decided to start my own business in the sector. One thing I learned growing up in a family-run hotel is that hospitality is more than hotel management, logistics and operations. It is a culture, passing down from one generation to the next. You can study to be a hotel manager but you cannot study to be hospitable. I apply this philosophy in my business as well. The rule is simple: the guests of the villas I manage are my guests. As an active traveller, I expect nothing less myself. The fourth generation of Dafermos hoteliers has already been born. I know now that my two beautiful children will probably follow my steps, like I did before them. There is a small difference though: they are smarter, more educated, better (big smile). At last, a villa you can calm and spend your personal time away from everything and focus only on those you choose or love. Your family or friends will be glad for an exquisite holiday home in Crete that is only 7 kilometers away from the nearest sandy beach. It is located between the largest cities of Crete and can be an ideal choice for your daily excursions of exploration. Villa Kantifes was built in 2018 and is designed to provide comfort and ergonomics for every visitor, without any aversion to aesthetics. On the outdoors there is a sea view and you can enjoy it as you sunbathe from the pool. It has a terrace with outdoor furniture and a barbecue area. On the ground floor there is a comfortable lounge with large flat-screen TV, banquet and a kitchen with a breakfast table and all modern amenities. In the ground floor the color of wood dominates in a timeless minimalist style. Cozy curtains decorate the windows and offer privacy when it is required. The house can accommodate up to 5 guests in its two bedrooms, with one double bed in one room and three single beds in the other (they can be converted in to double bed and a single bed on request).

Villa Kantifes is located 14 kilometers from Rethymno, the most beautiful city of the island and 7 kilometers from the nearest beach in Stauromeno with many beach bars and restaurants. Rethymno has a lively nightlife, beautiful narrow streets for walking in the old town, huge variety of souvenir shops, many restaurants and a Venetian castle and harbor. It has very welcome people and every year attracts more and more visitors. A car is necessary for your transportation. We can also organize a transfer in order to come to the villa and the day after rental cars can be delivered at the property (extra charge).
