The location is beautiful. The self check in went very smoothly. There is a great book with local things to do, taverns, etc. It met all our needs we loved having dinner at one of the local taverns. The owners were so kind and welcoming.
More an fyi, be sure to carry cash when visiting. It's a small village, and the taverns prefer cash over cards.

Remarkably well staged and decorated apartment that has hotel like touches (dental kits, hair shampoo conditioner etc) but with all the feel at home stuff around! Amazing L shaped couch in front of the tv so everyone can lounge and it’s even good for sleeping, super comfortable big beds, lots of closet storage, a huge balcony with a swing and table where you can drink your coffee and watch the life go by…in one of the bedrooms there is a Hollywood style mirror .. a dream…!!!! Plus, kitchen has everything too - including a lux espresso machine. Host Illias is the kindest warmest person , he waited for us to arrive late, helped us with luggage and made sure we have everything we need before he left. I just wish I could have stayed there longer , it’s the perfect place!

If it were possible to give an eleven, this would be the best rating for this lovely mountain inn. The hospitality that we experienced was exceptional. Our host Pavlina was warm & personable, and also as we discovered, an amazing chef. We arrived late after a long travel, tired & hungry. It seems our every need was anticipated and provided for with complete grace & charm. Pavlina served us a dinner of full of fresh ingredients and great flavors, & the little touches that you noticed on each plate revealed the soul of an artist. Pavlina served us a cheesecake of her own recipe that was so delicate & delicious, topped w/ freshly picked cherries from the garden, which is the best I've had. (Note: I grew up in lower Manhattan, perhaps the cheesecake capitol of the world.) The house itself is spacious and embodies a sense of rustic charm and luxury, and is wonderfully situated in a stunning, pristine valley populated by oak trees and riven with wild flowers. There was a fresh branch of tiny wild roses left on or bathroom shelf, which is typifies the attention to detail that the family has invested in this project. This is a highly recommended place, certainly ranking among our top traveling experiences.
