The mansion is very beautiful with nice garden and the rooms were well decorated reminding old times. Fulfilling breakfast served by the hosts. Beautiful traditional and peaceful village, very easy to find.

Porfyron The "red house" was built in 1860, a beautiful house with big bright rooms, and wood carved ceilings. In late 2005 the artistry renovation was finished and the house got the name 'Porfyron (Byzantine for red / purple). A plastered house with the color red, unusual in Zagori which is located in the National Park of Pindos, where ones can find only stone-build houses. Staying in Porfyron will warm you like a warm blanket of luxury. An unusual luxury of natural beauty, luxurious simplicity and domesticity. You will feel at home and enjoy the spacious, comfortable rooms for the most relaxing sleep, beautiful garden, cozy lounge and restaurant, rich homemade breakfast and the best, traditional dinners. A place to return, to remember, for all the best feelings life has given us.
Yiannis Kirligitsis from Greece Zagori region & Rita Berends from Netherlands are a good team. They have created a little piece of paradise on earth. Here reigns quality over quantity. It is their way of life, "the guests feel at home, not as a guest but as a human, by trying to give the best for everyone who enters. They are distinguished from the majority by living there, what to grow in the garden, to create as much as possible and to live seasonable and by nature. Always a listening ear, a helping hand, a golden tip, a memorable stay for everyone who will come.
Ano Pedina -Zagori You will come to Ano Pedina for leisure, for a embracing of the mountains, the clean air, delicious water and the incredible light. Ano Pedina is located in the center of Zagori, one of the most unspoilt part of Greece and Europe. From here it is very easy to reach the other villages, hiking along the ancient trails or with motorized transport. There is no 'through' traffic, so you come here as a visitor who wants to enjoy the peaceful silence and all the goods of the earth. Nature, rest and enjoying is what people want for holidays, in Ano Pedina you will find this, the place to be, exactly where you should be.
