Me and my wife recently had the privilege of spending our honeymoon at the Atlantica Dream Resort in Rhodes, Greece, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that surpassed our highest expectations. Giorgos epitomized excellence in hospitality, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was nothing short of perfection.
The resort itself is a true gem, exuding luxury and elegance at every turn. We were awe-struck by the stunning surroundings and impeccable attention to detail. Our accommodation was not just a room but a sanctuary of comfort and tranquility, offering breathtaking views of the azure Aegean Sea.
One of the highlights of our experience was the culinary journey offered at the resort's four exquisite restaurants. From authentic Greek delicacies to mouthwatering Italian cuisine, and from American classics to a tantalizing variety-based menu, every meal was a culinary masterpiece. Giorgos's thoughtful gesture of booking us into all four restaurants allowed us to savor a diverse array of flavors, each more delightful than the last.
What truly sets the Atlantica Dream Resort apart, however, is the exceptional service provided by Giorgos and his team. Their unwavering dedication to ensuring our honeymoon was nothing short of magical was evident in every interaction. They went above and beyond to anticipate our needs and exceed our expectations at every turn, leaving us feeling cherished and pampered throughout our stay.
Reflecting on our time at the Atlantica Dream Resort, we can confidently say that it was the best holiday experience of our lives. It was a journey filled with unforgettable moments, from romantic sunset strolls along the pristine beaches to indulgent spa treatments that left us feeling rejuvenated and renewed.

Gennadi is an adorable small village featuring a handful of delightful restaurants, a bakery, and a small grocery store. It enjoys a convenient location, with short driving distances to neighboring villages and cities – just 10 minutes to Kiotari and 30 minutes to Lindos. The journey to Rhodes Old Town takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes by car. If you prefer tranquil, less touristy destinations, Gennadi is an excellent choice.

Best beaches in the whole of Rhodes.
Best beaches in the whole of Rhodes. Since the winds are usually blowing from north/west and Gennadi is situated on the southeast coast the place is less windy. The beach is really long and has pebbles, so you don't get sand everywhere.
There is a really nice beach front bar/restaurant called Sposa del Sol. Their signature drink Sposa del Sol is super good. They have beach front sunbeds and sofas for their clients.
Along the beach there is also another really nice restaurant Klimis, with nice homemade food. Best fried vegetables are found here.
In the village of Gennadi there are a lot of very good restaurants. At least Mama and Zorbas have superb Greek traditional foods. I am sure there are many more good ones also, we just did not have time to visit them all.
Gennadi is cheaper and more genuine than the old town of Rhodes and Lindos, and it is a more tranquil place.
One of the nicest places that we have visited in Greece.
It is recommended to rent a car - it will give you so much more freedom and easy. But there is also a bus.

A large village / small town with a good selection of bars, restaurants, a green grocer, excellent bakery, and reasonable supermarket. South of here, things become increasingly spartan, whilst northwards they are increasingly touristy, so strikes a good balance between practicality and traditional feel.
Set back about 250m from the beach, with some very nice properties available to rent, some with pools.
Has a good local feel to it, with plenty of local people around, not just tourists.
Food prices generally good - a large, whole, grilled fish for 18 euros at Zorba's Tavern, for example, or a very fat gyros with pork for 3 euros at Bessa's Corner. Some restaurants push Italian pizza and pasta as well as Greek traditions, with one or two feeling more traditional (e.g. goat stew or excellent moussaka at Sergio's Old Times). Some offer take out and delivery service too if you are outside the village (e.g. Bessa's Corner can deliver all sorts of grills and gyros).
At the back of the village is a small church, with a pleasant walk through a green way to the graveyard and valley behind.
Bus stop by the pharmacy on the main road, with easy access to Lindos (2.70 one way), Rhodes (7.20 one way) and other places. Car and scooter hire available in the village itself too.

We love Gennadi. It has some lovely restuarants .
We love Gennadi. It has some lovely restuarants . Fully recommend going to Mammas but you need to book as gets very busy, food is great. The town itself is very pretty and at night they close down the main street and all the restaurants bring their tables out. Greek dance happens at night in the street also. Gennadi has everything you need a small supermarket, bakery, greengrocers and is very close to the beach. The beach is very pebbley so take some beach shoes with you

Gennadi is a lively little place and as yet not over developed. The village is friendly, charming and has everything you need for a week self catering.
Highly recommend restaurants in Gennadi - Mana’s Kitchen and Zorbas. For ice cream and sweet treats go to the South Bakery.
I’d recommend visiting both Rhodes Town and Lindos (the bus stop is 1 minute from the property).
The beach is shingle and pebbles. It is a wide ‘bay’ but we preferred to use our pool rather than go to the beach.

Gennadi is a lovely village to visit.
Gennadi is a lovely village to visit. Tourists are well catered for but the village is not overly touristy which is a plus. There is a good, cheap bus service to Lindos and Rhodes Town although this is much slower than driving. Ginnardi has a gorgeous beach which is very quiet but with some tavernas, a beach bar and sun loungers available. It exceeded my expectations
Excellent apartments with fully equipped kitchen in a house with a large swimming pool, located along a secondary road a little away from the center, but very quiet and peaceful place while everything is close and very accessible: the beach is 3 minutes by car or 10 minutes on foot, the village center with taverns, a supermarket and a bakery, 10 minutes on foot. the hostess Chrisoula is very hospitable and hospitable, she keeps the apartments in perfect cleanliness. Gennadi beach is just great with crystal clear water.
The staff was super attentive, the facilities clean and modern, every staff member was friendly and caring. George was amazing he remembered all our names and details, made sure our stay was amazing and that we got everything we could possibly want and more. We also loved that the beach was so close by, the room design was beautiful. The cafeteria was filled with a variety of food. There were so much staff members around us working hard, being attentive it was amazing.
Except for the location, the hotel was excellent and great value for money.
I can't speak highly enough of the staff, particularly the 2 receptionists who went out of their way to make our stay a pleasant experience.
The room rate included breakfast and evening meal - exceptional value for money and both very good.
Lovely, large pool with plenty of sunbeds.
The nearby town is worth a visit. Shame about the beach.
I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
We rested with Theo and Anna in August 2021. We are delighted! The house is large, cozy, 7 - 10 minutes from the sea, there is everything you need for the beach, an umbrella, chairs. There are sun loungers on the balconies. On the second floor, each room has air conditioning. Very nice, calm and quiet place. There is a small town nearby with shops and restaurants. The hosts are very helpful and nice people! We will be happy to come back again!
The location is great, we love this place! For people who value privacy and nature. The house has absolutely everything you need, for cooking, playing, resting etc. Especially good for families with children. The Gennadi pebble beach has the cleanest water, the Glistra sandy beach is only 14.4 km from villa and of course Prasonisi beach is about 25 minutes with car away. We highly recommend this villa to all not depending on the age!
The villa is spacious and has everything you need. Great pool and big sun lounge area. Good area, within east reach of beaches and sights. Booking easy, property description accurate and communication via website was excellent. We were met at the property on arrival by a lovely lady who made sure we knew where everything was. Village within walking distance with excellent restaurants, bakery and supermarket.
The apartment was modern and well equipped and had a lovely balcony with table and chairs. There was everything we needed. Pool facilities were great. Walking distance to many restaurants, bakery, supermarket, beach. Beach is about 10 - 15 minutes walk. Gennadi is a nice place.
Super friendly hosts, they offered excellent customer service. Tsambika is a very lovely lady!!
- The appartment is very well located between Gennadi village with all the restaurants and the beach
- easy parking
- very well equiped with excellent AC and good bed, nice balcony on the sea etc.
- The owner Marietta is the most friendly and helpful person you will find on this island, she will make your stay really memorable !

The reseption was great and helpful (we got an upgrade to our room, late check out).
Beautiful beach, heated pool, everything we needed.
Very recommended. Would love to visit again!
We enjoyed our time at the beach house very much. The place is few steps from an empty beach. You can enjoy sunrise every morning. AC is in every room. There is a very nice taverna nearby with a fresh fish! Everything was great and we felt like home.
I am pleased with the help and attention presented by the host.
I am impressed with the high standard of the facility and good location.
The added value of Gennadi Harmony Suites was the comfort of privacy
