We had a great stay here. It was just what we were looking for. It was quiet, a lovely beach, clean room, a delicious breakfast. We would stay here again. It was our first time to Chios and we had just planned to rent a scooter for transportation. However, it is a larger island, with bigger mountains, than we anticipated. So, we ended up renting a car so that we could visit other villages and beaches.

It was an amazing experience overall. The staff were kind and helpful and they welcomed us with welcoming drinks that we could enjoy in our terrace. The rooms were quite big and well decorated. The breakfast was so delicious and fresh. It is in a nice neighbourhood that you can enjoy an old Greek town. It is very close to a nice beach that you can find an amazing sea and delicious food.

Liked · Mesta Plateia was charming and the perfect place for our stay in the medieval fortress village. The refurbished stone house was a wonderful combination of the traditional structures the village is known for, updated with modern amenities and while we didn't do much cooking while there, we very much appreciated the well stocked, full kitchen (with spices / Olive Oil & vinegar / coffee / bottled water / beer / fruit) and the lovely decanter of the local Souma (drink) left by our hosts. It's location above the town square made it lively and vibrant during the day and evenings and it was a great jumping off point to explore the village, local beaches and surrounding areas by. We also appreciated that there was a balcony overlooking the village square as well as a more private outdoor patio which we enjoyed hanging out on in the evenings when we wanted a bit more privacy + quiet and our hosts Fragkoula & Dimitris who were very hospitable and generous with information.
