I went for work so I don't know about tourist attractions, but the food was great and the people were very friendly. I rented a car and it was fine driving, as long as you are used to driving in cities in developing countries. Not as bad as many places. I would like to go explore outside the city next time.

an interesting city, especially in the oldest part of town.
an interesting city, especially in the oldest part of town. Great Spanish colonial architecture. Easy to walk around. Safe enough. Museums closed when I went, which was disappointing. It’s very hilly! Also, it’s 1000 m above sea level,so if you’re not used to altitude, as I’m not, take a day or more to acclimatise

It has a bad reputation, and I was nervous about going there. But, the airport is conveniently located in the middle of the city, and there are buses on the street directly in front of it. Once I arrived near the hostel, it was in a safe neighborhood.

Beautiful sites.
Beautiful sites. Centrally located, rent a car or taxi tours , many things to see and do. You will recognize several American restaurants and brands. We had an amazing trip from the National parks, Lake Yoja, and the beach on both sides of the country.

I stayed for two days in a work trip, the city has few sightseeing places and local people told me it is a little dangerous to walk the street passed 6:00pm.
Night life in the city was nice I visited a coupule of bars and a food truck zone near the UNAH (National University). The local beers are something worth to try.
This was my second stay here. You can see my August review for the deets. I'll just sum it up by saying it is a clean, nice apartment and building near Parque Central Tegucigalpa. It is cheaper than comparable apartments.
The owner is very accommodating and helpful, and check in and check out is easily coordinated through whatsapp (or messaging ahead of time here through Booking).
Very good wifi. A/C in the living and bedroom.
Convenience store on the corner.
It was clean, cheap, safe and they helped me get Ticabus tickets to Nicaragua and also on my way to Utila. The staff is helpful and answered all my questions about navigating through Honduras. They have a fully equipped kitchen and a beautiful rooftop terrace overlooking the city. What I liked the most about the hostel was the location (safe part of Tegucigalpa) since I could walk to the supermarket and other places around. Would recommend without a doubt.
Indeed this apartment is charming and cozy
Every little detail from the kitchen utensils to the bedding are well matched in relaxing colors like gray and turquoise. The area its perfect safe and quiet close to big malls and walmart. Transportation is accessible calling private taxi service and the host Josue is kind and friendly
I will definitely consider book again this apartment in future trips to Tegucigalpa. 100% recommended 😀
Laura, is very gracious, courteous and incredible. She was very accommodating and very quick to respond with any questions. She is also flexible with check-in and check-out time, which was extremely helpful.
The communication was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like it does on the pictures. The neighborhood is very conveniently located, close to the airport. Would absolutely recommend to stay there!
Nice social areas, kitchen for use, gated property so felt very safe. The staff were amazing, contacted us in advance, helped with anything we needed and left us snacks and coffee for breakfast which was lovely. Really comfy bed too! We were swapped from the double room we booked to an empty 4 bed dorm. This was very kind as we then had a bathroom to ourselves.
We arrived in the dark and didn’t see any hotel sign. I was a little unsure at first from the outside. Once in the host was great. The rooms are very average and plain but clean. There’s a sitting area and kitchen and even some space for cars inside. I felt safe and enjoyed my stay. We will be back.
The hostel has a nice big roof terrace where you can barbeque, multiple hammocks and a semi-nice view. The kitchen is well equipped and spacious. Also, we were able to securely park our motorcycles. The staff was really nice and helpful as well.
Thank you FLORENCIA PLAZA HOTEL for everything!! the staff were excited! kind, polite and always smiles and kept hotel safe. One Beautiful hotel, Room was clean all the time!! the breakfast and dinner foods were amazing and delicious!
It seems it belongs to an owner/ organizations, who seems to own all the hotels in this small district. Therefore, the district is safe and clean, and with some restaurants and bars
Free room upgrade
Large comfortable room, nice open space near reception, helpful staff. It’s a $5 ride from the Pullmantur terminal and all taxi drivers knew the hotel immediately.
very nice place, clean. Mrs. Laura is a kind person, she called my Uber, I’ll stay in Casa Sur next time when I visit Tegucigalpa. from one to ten I give 9.5
