I went for work so I don't know about tourist attractions, but the food was great and the people were very friendly. I rented a car and it was fine driving, as long as you are used to driving in cities in developing countries. Not as bad as many places. I would like to go explore outside the city next time.

an interesting city, especially in the oldest part of town.
an interesting city, especially in the oldest part of town. Great Spanish colonial architecture. Easy to walk around. Safe enough. Museums closed when I went, which was disappointing. It’s very hilly! Also, it’s 1000 m above sea level,so if you’re not used to altitude, as I’m not, take a day or more to acclimatise

It has a bad reputation, and I was nervous about going there. But, the airport is conveniently located in the middle of the city, and there are buses on the street directly in front of it. Once I arrived near the hostel, it was in a safe neighborhood.

Beautiful sites.
Beautiful sites. Centrally located, rent a car or taxi tours , many things to see and do. You will recognize several American restaurants and brands. We had an amazing trip from the National parks, Lake Yoja, and the beach on both sides of the country.

I stayed for two days in a work trip, the city has few sightseeing places and local people told me it is a little dangerous to walk the street passed 6:00pm.
Night life in the city was nice I visited a coupule of bars and a food truck zone near the UNAH (National University). The local beers are something worth to try.
I didn’t actually end up staying at Hotel Ghiza as, when I arrived, they didn’t have any spare rooms but they quickly organised for me to stay at Hotel Alsacia (their sister hotel) covering the cost of the Uber and charging me the same price. The staff were very helpful and let me print off my documents ready for the Nicaraguan border
The property is very close to the airport and feels very safe with a 24-hour security guard. The hotel is beautiful decorated and has a lush garden area for the restaurant. The food was super good and the included breakfast was delicious! The front desk employee, Nelson, was so helpful and spoke perfect English. Thank you Nelson!
breakfast was really good, wait staff was nice

And the best thing was the view at night😍
Once again thank a lot for her and casa sur staff✌️😊
The concept is more likely a big guest house than a regular hotel.
The property is beautiful and has amazing pieces of arts.
Customer service excellent.
Big room, super clean and elegant.
The managment is friendly and generous.
It's a very nice luxurious hotel. The room was big, king sized bed and nice bathroom. All the necessary amenities included. Breakfast was very good, a lot of options. We spent one afternoon in the pool which is very nice.
It’s great hotel! Great location and it has a very nice view! However, they do not accept credit cards payment and they didn’t accept a cash payment that was only one dollar less that what they asked!!!
Clarion Tegucigalpa has always exceeded our expectations. Customer Service, Security and the food have always been impecable. The cleanliness was amazing as well.
very clean, lovely staff, nice breakfast. It wasn’t your plain boring faceless hotel, it had its own unique style which I liked. it also has very comfy beds.
