There are a variety of things to see and do, several malls to
choose from. There is a variety of supermarkets, restaurants, American company restaurants, stores to shop in, places to buy automotive parts, good places to buy tourist items, such as jewelry. Traffic is not heavy for being a big city.

We didn't spend any time in San Pedro Sula except prior to our flight home. We spent nearly all our time in Pico Bonito National Park near La Cieba. We experienced a 72 hour storm/ flooding/ no electricity etc.
The people seemed generally very friendly.
We really enjoyed staying in Pico Bonito Lodge one of the small hotels of the world. It was a wonderful stay although the weather was very disappointing and hampered our birding plans. Then we stayed in Pico Bonito Villas which were in a good vantage point to observe the river.
There was white water rafting, horse riding, zip wires, bird watching, and swimming in the river or at the beaches.
We hired a car but the roads are not easy to navigate and there were many mud slides and rock falls because of the torrential rain. The roads are OK on the main through roads but off these they are pot holed and mud tracks.
We ate out a several restaurants which served great lobster and seafood.
The service was very good generally although sometimes a little slow.
I think we should have planned a 2 week stay. We stayed for 3 weeks and this was a little long.

I travel here a lot so I know a couple of the good places to grab a quick bite late at night, plus my driver makes safe choices based on where am at or where am headed. Never had issues but I tend to stay away from them if possible. Get a driver that is my most sound advice make friends it goes a long way to finding nice local places to go to

Safe. Too much noise... I called the front desk around 10 and complained, and the booming and music lesson until 3 o’clock. People were screaming in the hallway outside my room. They might have been drunk but that’s no excuse for Hotel not putting people who want to sleep at a higher level and away from this noise.

San Pedro Sula is a gateway to many adventures in Honduras-...
San Pedro Sula is a gateway to many adventures in Honduras- as one of the easier airports to fly into - I recommend it. Once you have entered the country you can choose your direction! Into the mountains? Lago de Yojoa. To the sea? La Ceiba, Omoa, Trujillo - or the bay islands. Be sure to stay at the Copantl to regroup and collect your thoughts. The area is hot - but a great way to adjust to Honduras for a one or two night stay in the area. They even have exceptional shopping Malls if you need to resupply on specialty items before you head deeper into the country!

I was there for a mission trip to Our Little Roses Home for Girls and because of only being two of us, we could not stay at the home. I was pleased that all the cab drivers knew where the home was and we had no trouble navigating about the city to the Mercato and the Guamaleto. The city as a whole has improved many of its roads and it seemed much cleaner and neater with little garbage on the road sides. The city seemed quieter than other times and even with the unrest less police visibility which I liked. I know they were there but not so visible. We felt safe the whole time we were there. Especially at the hotel. Our ventures out in the city were during the day only.
This is a nice quiet place to stay in SPS before or after your flight. This is a newer boutique hotel in a complex with a restaurant and brewery. It was quiet and it was nice to be able to go get food and drinks without leaving the greater hotel grounds. The staff were kind to make us breakfast and coffee for an early departure. The rooms are pretty and very, very clean. The bed was extra comfortable. The pool was nice and clean. We only used it for a minute because it started raining, but it was very nice.
Two things that matter to me when traveling in a foreign country: staff and communication. Both were excellent. The hotel always promptly responded to my inquiries, the staff was always on hand and went overboard to take care of my needs and requests, and the facilities were great. There are some close by restaurants but with Uber, it didn't matter. You can go across town for less than $4 and Uber makes it easy---no communication issues. I'd gladly stay at this hotel again.
Fantastic breakfast with scrambled eggs, avocado, and toast with actual butter!! The owner was incredibly sweet and kind - just what we needed! We landed in San Pedro Sula off a chicken bus and didn't have a room booked - we were in kind of a sketchy area, so it was nice to book the room, get an Uber, and get to our room before dark!
The hotel is in a great location, right next to the forest. There's a nice pool available to guests, a great restaurant right next door and they took us up to a viewpoint in the forest for free. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. The room we stayed in was nice, with the bathroom being the highlight.
This place is amazing. The host is incredible and really helped out my partner and I when we ended up getting stranded in San Pedro Sula due to a missed bus and then a canceled flight. The room has great ac and the bed was super comfy. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in San Pedro Sula.
This is a nice place for a stop-over in San Pedro Sula. The staff is very friendly. The room is basic but fine. It has a terrace on each floor where you can sit outside. There is a restaurant in the hotel.
The hotel is located in a quiet area and close to the airport (15 minutes).
The personnel at this hotel are very pleasant, and attentive to guests. The friendliness of the staff is across the board, from the reception area to those in the various restaurants, and then on to those at the front door, and those cleaning rooms.
Everything was clean the staff so nice for sure I’ll comeback to stay on this hotel very good price. Is located in the center of the city wish is goo many options to go eat small but very comfortable hotel
The feel and presentation of the hotel inside. Compared to outside location, I was concerned that the inside was not going to be what the pictures appear. But it meet my expectation and it was pleasant.
High recommend for a stay in San Pedro Sula! We were picked up from the bus terminal and they dropped us again there on the next day. Also very good breakfast and super nice people.
Hotel was walking distance to mall and had a very nice resturant with incredible drinks , I recommend the lemonjamiaca. Rooms were clean tv was spectacular.
