Although we stayed for only a night and actually made the booking within an hour of our arrival, and late in the evening, the host were so kind to accept our request and were readily availabe and so helpful. They were just so nice and welcoming, very warm people, which was exactly what we needed after a long & freezing day :) Would reccommend without a doubt!!

We loved the place we stayed, close to the river and the many restaurants in the centre. There is so much to see, but we didn’t have much time. Definitely considering coming back. Pepo’s was a great restaurant- fabulous food and local wine. And they knew how to serve a proper Espresso Martini

We went there for a Sci-Fi convention with our friends for a day. We spent almost all of our time at the Brod Fortress near the city center. The fortress is beautiful, but if there are no events at the times, it can be enjoyed very quickly. The main street, where you can only go by foot, is full of life... coffee shops, cake shops, stores. People are great and friendly.

It would be unfair of me to comment as I arrived as it was getting dark and left in the morning but it appeared to be quite industrial. I didn't see enough of the town to be able to have an opinion.

Though it was christmas and everything about to close they had me as their only guest probably and tried to give me all I needed and more. A very friendly and supporting atmosphere in the midst of the town, close to the river and a public swimming pool. Many cafés and restaurants are close by but... you probably won't need them, because the coffee is very good right here and the meals also were delicious. If I ever come back to Slavonski Brod: this will be the destination.

I would pick this place over the Esplanade in Zagreb or Savus Hotel in Slavonski Brod (I previously stayed at both) any time, even if they charged Esplanade prices.
