Nečujam is situated in the biggest bay of Šolta, and is the youngest town on the island. It naturally gravitates towards the large beach situated beneath the apartment complex that made Nečujam one of the most famous locality on The Adriatic coast before the Homeland War. The bay has eight coves: Bok Supetra, Šumpjivina, Podkamenica, Maslinica, Tiha, Bok od rata, Piškera and Supetar. The first thing you will notice in Nečujam is the large pebble beach with clear sea, and a dense pine tree forest that provides excellent shade during the summer heat. Nature made sure that every bit of this town and the adjacent coves are a proper little swimming and holiday paradise.
