Our property is located at the very entrance to Premantura so you can avoid traffic jams at the old centre of the village. it is an excellent place for those running away from noise and technology. We are at the "doorstep" of Kamenjak. You will find the road leading to Rt Kamenjak approx 100 meters air distance from here. Our Guesthouse is an annex to the main house. That guarantees full privacy to our guests and us. We are here to help, but mostly invisible to our guests. Except when they want to see us. Separate entrance to each room emphasizes privacy even more.

We enjoy hosting our guests as it gives us lots of opportunities to learn about other cultures and places. Most of our guests are young couples age similar to our children's. We enjoy when they share with us their enthusiasm for life, willingness to explore different places and cultures and love for places they come from. Sometime we find a lot in common and a friendship is formed. We are proud to say that we received a few invitations to visit our ex. guests in their countries. We are born Croatian but moved to Premantura from New Zealand where we have been living for 20 years. The birth of our grandson in Europe brought us back. We feel at home in both countries, speak both languages and choose what we adopt from each culture. We both share love for beauty (natural and man-made) and natural healing methods. We love music (Ljubo plays 3 instruments), poetry and art in various forms. The names of our Guesthouse and both rooms are from New Zealand. Aotearoa is Maori name for NZ meaning something like "a land of white long cloud", Koru and Pohutukawa are two of a few symbols representing NZ. Swim and sunbathe at many beaches in Premantura / Rt Kamenjak area, explore underwater caves, hire a boat to visit small islands, go biking, hire a quad, visit historic and cultural places in Pula, taste world famous local olive oil, prosciutto etc. Go on a day trip to National park Brioni, Rovinj, Porec, Istarske Toplice thermal resort, Motovun, Hum... Or catch a ferry and go to Venice. Choices are infinite.
