We loved the place we stayed, close to the river and the many restaurants in the centre. There is so much to see, but we didn’t have much time. Definitely considering coming back. Pepo’s was a great restaurant- fabulous food and local wine. And they knew how to serve a proper Espresso Martini

We went there for a Sci-Fi convention with our friends for a day. We spent almost all of our time at the Brod Fortress near the city center. The fortress is beautiful, but if there are no events at the times, it can be enjoyed very quickly. The main street, where you can only go by foot, is full of life... coffee shops, cake shops, stores. People are great and friendly.

It would be unfair of me to comment as I arrived as it was getting dark and left in the morning but it appeared to be quite industrial. I didn't see enough of the town to be able to have an opinion.

Super clean and nicely furnished, including a well equipped kitchen. You will find everything you need plus some. I would pick this place over the Esplanade in Zagreb or Savus Hotel in Slavonski Brod (I previously stayed at both) any time, even if they charged Esplanade prices. Sparkling clean, I honestly have never stayed at a cleaner place, and I am a neat freak :) Fully equipped apartment, full kitchen and even a washing machine in the bathroom, A+. Host is welcoming and friendly, we even got a gift when we were checking out which was very thoughtful and sweet. I would stay here again anytime.
