This was in a quiet location and the room was neat and clean. The bathroom looked newly renovated. The land lady was very friendly and made me some coffee on my arrival (and orange juice).

Great hotel, nice room with large balcony & sea view. Very nice staff, helpful & friendly. A short walk to loungers by the sea and close to some restaurants & approx. 15 mins walk to larger selection of bars & restaurants. I liked that you could use all of the facilities of the adjoining 2-3 hotels which are part of the same complex.

The village only has one restaurant and the nearest shop is in Zaton around 5km away, so it's good if you have your transport. Buses to Dubrovnik pass around once an hour. The harbour and arboretum are well worth a visit, but there is a better beach on the isle of Lopud opposite (accessible by boat).

Trsteno is a small village with a restaurant at the top of...
Trsteno is a small village with a restaurant at the top of the hill, an arboretum lower down - which is well worth a visit, it's beautiful - and a harbour where you can swim, at the bottom of the hill ! Outside the arboretum are two local stalls selling home made jams/jelly, dried figs, herbs and Olive oil - a really authentic taste of Trsteno. Most of this area of Croatia is very hilly with steep walks to beaches and into Dubrovnik, Trsteno is the same, so be prepared for that. We hired a car but there are buses on the main road to Dubrovnik and also to beaches such as Slano. There are plenty of shops on the main road as well as coves and bays where you can swim - most of the beaches are small and pebbly but the water is clear and the beaches are clean. Most beach parking is free. Trsteno is ideally placed for swimming, beaches, restaurants, Dubrovnik and the arboretum. It is very peaceful and the apartment we stayed in was surrounded by nature and very quiet.
The apartment is in a beautiful setting, it has a very nice garden and a small terrace which is in the shades all day with a nice view. The inside was clean and nice, it has an appropriate kitchen for cooking. It’s only approachable by foot (a considerable amount of stairs) but it’s worth it because the narrow streets with gardens everywhere and beautiful vantage points to the sea are just lovely to walk by. It’s close to the beach, and the store is not far either.
The host are very kind and helpful, everything went smooth with them.
Everything you need; peace and quiet, a very comfortable bed, great shower and a lovely warm welcome.
The property is located in a secluded valley that runs down to Trsteno.
As well as Svjetlana and Nikša, there are other family members around to help if needed. You are made to feel very welcome and part of the family.
The apartment was spotlessly clean, with everything of high quality.
The balcony is the perfect place to sunbathe, or watch some amazing sunsets.
Everything was great for us: the pool, the sea view and the villa were delightful. We enjoyed the family house decoration and the great areas for eating outside. The location is peaceful and relaxing. The owners are friendly, hospitable and helpful. There is a small supermarket close by and buses link to Dubrovnik and along the coast, roughly hourly. We hope to return.
This Apartment is fantastic! You'll find yourself surrounded by the calm and green of a nice garden and the Arboretum is just around the corner. The studio is fully equipped and super clean. The wonderful hosts - Maja and Anita - are really helpful and if you want always up for a talk. And they make delicious jam! We'd definitly recommend a stay here!
We came here for a quick sleep during our visit to the Dubrovnik-Neretva area. We wanted to see the Arboretum, and the location is as perfect as could be. Host was accommodating and helpful. There are probably some nice beaches nearby too!
Good communication with host, location close to Dubrovnik, private parking, welcome drink and snack, quiet at night, terrace with a view.
We stayed 1 night because we were in transit, but we had a good rest.
A fabulous place, exceptional owners, amazing atmosphere. If I ever go to the Dubrovnik area, it's only there. Unbeatable. The best place I've ever been to in Croatia. Hugs to owners.
Very clean location, a warm host, ready to help you with any request but also with the best dining tips, beaches. The location is ideal for visiting Dubrovnik.
