I did not like the fact outside guest can walk in wash their slippers in the pool use the swimming pool with out spending any money at the resorte .Not done.when I come back to stay again which I will n see this happening I will walk out of your hotel.

The unique "Lumbung" (Lombok traditional architectures) of the some cottages. First class services of Reception Desk that put high efforts to send people to return my left ID card from the island to next hotel in Lombok

Outdated interior of cottages as well as the hotel facilities, including the swimming pools.

Due to a musty smell in the room and it being a bit of a hot box-they changed us to a terrace room with a beautiful outdoor eco salt shower/bathroom and air con that efficiently worked. I would say just get one of these rooms to save the hassle of disappointment. Breakfast had a lot of variety. Pool was great.

Wooden Bungalow had a musty smell as though the room had been locked up and not used for a while(really need a bit of upkeep/renovation) Bike hire is double the price than on the street

The rooms and balconies along with lower level day bed and table and chairs gave you options in and out of the sun while you were at your room. Gardens and pool were lovely. The pool bar staff were all great, good for a chat and all made great cocktails. There was a good variety for breakfast. The beach side restaurant was a lovely evening or lunch time spot with good service and great food. Eating out on Gili T was very reasonable, we were expecting it to be expensive because it's a small island but everything was so cheap. An Aussie top quality steak for about 1/3 of what we would have paid in Aus. Hubby lived on all the best seafood at very reasonable prices too. Make sure you take a trip around the island in one of the horse and carts, pay the drive for 2hrs instead of 1hr and have lunch over the other side of the island, very chilled out on the other side and worth a look. Several great places for dinner within walking distance. Enjoy you time on Gili T.

Check-in took to long because the check-in guy kept taking phone calls, while others stood around doing nothing. Maybe they need more trained staff on the check-in/phones at reception. The bed and pillows were to hard, so i ended up with a bad back.

Location, great service, nice rooms, indonesian style, very convenient, excellent breakfasts, free diving lessons in pool, welcome drinks served in indonesian style, life music in restuarant

Salty water in pool and showers

- Location is great - Quick problem solving on personnel side - Very friendly, although sometimes a little impersonal staff

- Breakfast quality is very average although the selection is big (you could find a large number of smaller villas down the road which include breakfast for much smaller price and they serve better food) - Prices are extremely high comparing to most places on the island - No Fan/aircon in any of the restaurants/bars. Breakfast area feels like a sauna even at 8 am!

saltwater shower, salt water pool and the rooms were quite old. old furniture, it needs to be renovated..

The rooms were lovely and modern, big comfortable beds and a nice outside bathroom. The location was great, just at the end of the strip of bad and restaurants, so close to everything but far enough away from the noise.

The shower was salt water, although a bucket and fresh water tap are provided.can be difficult to get a sunbed as they allow anyone to use them, not just guests which is annoying.

Room was excellent, spacious, a/c worked well, cleaning staff were very helpful and friendly. Entire staff would automatically greet you. Facilities are top notch, pool, breakfast, restaurants and bars by the beach. The island itself is beautiful with spectacular beaches. A bit more primitive than Bali but in a good way. No motocycles or cars, just rent a bike at the hotel and use the horse drawn carts.

Be aware that this is a family resort so there will be children. Not an issue but be aware that the water system is salt but there is a fresh water tap in the shower area to rinse off. The pool is salt water as well but was no problem for me. These were not issues to me and I plan to return as soon as I can for a longer stay.

Great pool bars, nice rooms and most staff were really friendly

One of the staff in the dive centre was rude and inpatient and ruined my first dive experience.

Not many sun beds around pool

We stayed in villa Ombak for 2 nights and loved everything, we had no complaints would deffinatley recommend this hotel.

Very friendly and approachable staff, nice location, not too far from the oat terminal and an excellent dive shop and staff.

The rooms were very dated and in some desperate need of renovation and insect proofing. There was only a tap for freshwater, both the shower, sink and swimming pool used saline groundwater. Would have been nice to have a hot, freshwater showe at the end of a day diving instead of a salty shower followed by a cold freshwater rinse from a tap and bucket!

Apart from the initial slow check in (life runs generally slow in the Gilis) the staff were phenomenal, very attentive and polite. Room was clean and comfortable, shower was fresh (salt) water but hot and decent sized. Close to everything you will need on Gili t, but also the Village Ombak(as we called it) had enough that you could do everything there. Good restaurants, lovely pool, spa and private beach area. Luxury for certain.

Wi-Fi didn't quite reach our hut, but generally on the island the WiFi is primitive. Slow staff on arrival, check in we waited in the lobby for 30 mins. Expensive by Gili standards but that still meant just over £1 per beer. Bargain.

The setting and location were lovely. The pools and bar staff friendly and helpful.

No one seemed to be in charge. We weren't told we had use of a private pool for 8 bungalows! Towels for the pool should be in the room. Our bathroom was tired, hairdryer useless! I think the hotel was lovely overall but very expensive

The facilities were not as soon on the website. The door of our villa didnt lock properly, the over flow on the toilet broken, no hot water from the shower, the pool and surrounding areas were not maintained, the breakfast was average, this is not a 4* resort. The island of Gili Trawangan is polluted, and hasn't been cared for, the whole island circumference has been developed, and areas abandoned and left in dis-repair. Dissapointing as a whole, and we left two days early. The island needs to know how to manage tourism.

I like The place, very relax

There Is not a fresh Water in the bath room and Nothing Water cleaner in the closet.

I enjoy my breakfast, Breakfast menu is very variety and seems suitable for everyone's tastes and its already open on 7am! Room is not too big, but its good. The tv channel is less, but its not a problem for you if you don't like much to watching tv. Very good spa.. Enjoyig this, to closed ur last day in gili. The pool....pretty nice! Though its not as big as I imagined. The staff hotel are very nice, they're very helpful. The sun rises.. Is the best momment for me when stay here. Just laying on sofa bed in the beach or on the sun bath. You will feel very amazing with this. Do it around 5am-6.30am. After all... Gili trawangan is good..and its very good to stay in vila ombak.

Prices of drugs sold in clinic/medical center is very expensive.
