I believe I got an upgrade that's why the value is good for what I paid. Room is comfortable with nice view. Lunch and dinner are nice as well. Didn't have chance to try the breakfast.

Such a beautiful historical property updated for comfort. Do not hesitate to book here. It is better in person.

Leixlip is a small town, very friendly but Leixlip Manor was not up to scratch. We found a nice restaurant in Leixlip as the Leixlip Manor had no food for evening meal although we were advised it had. It was very disappointing,
We were thankful we only stayed one night.

Hotel is in great location for liffey valley shopping centre. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good and evening dinner was good. Down side was bathroom shower hose sprayed out water went out onto floor. The sink stopper didn't work and also the toilet didn't flush very well. Had to put curtains up on window sill so the heat of radiator could get out.

Pretty little Irish village just outside Dublin iwth strong links to the Guinness family. Lovely walks along the river Liffey and countryside with plenty of pubs and dining options. Only 1/2 an hour by car from the airport, ferry terminals and Dublin City. 2 train stations with journey to Dublin also about 1/2 an hour and good value plus decent bus services. Liffey Valley shopping complex is also nearby. Overall providees the best of both worlds for a city/country stay
The breakfast was ample . I requested gluten free although I hadn’t seen any gluten free cereal or bread alternatives on display my own fault for not asking at the time. However, I normally enjoy bacon and eggs of which there were plenty. I enjoyed the peace and quiet of the hotel and the room was clean warm and comfortable. We booked this hotel hoping for a quiet evening which was delivered. We had been attending a function in Dublin after a long stressful week and we’re glad of a good rest.
Grainne saved my life that day, mine and my tourist's too!;) We had no rooms to stay at the nearby hotel, and I found her place which is located in the same district - I love Leixlip neighborhood, it's nice and peaceful there, far away from Dublin crowd!:) And so was the lodge! Apart from that, as I had no place to go, Grainne let me stay - as she had no more apartments available - at her own house! Amazing hospitality!:))
Staff were friendly and helpful, beautiful location with easy access to Dublin from bus stop opposite hotel and lots of restaurants, pubs in walking distance. Also, nice walks along the river (weather permitting). Our room was very peaceful, we could not hear any noise from bar areas (see below). Overall, would recommend the hotel, just be sure to book in one of the quieter rooms.
The host was very welcoming and helpful.
Both rooms were located in one of the outbuildings just a few minutes walk from the main Hotel. Both rooms were equipped with everything we needed for our stay.
The Parking was free and you have plenty of space around the property to park the car.
The Breakfast buffet was great (a large selection of items from savoury to sweets).
The grounds were stunning and the accommodation in the old stables was quite pretty also. The main hotel and breakfast rooms/bar were also very nice.
The room was comfortable and had all the amenities needed.
Location was great for us also as we didn't want to stay in Dublin. It's a short ride to Dublin and the area was really nice. The town itself is worth exploring.
Warm welcome as always at this conveniently located hotel.
Surprised when I was allocated a lovely suite with balcony and country side views. Wow! This was a lovely surprise!!! Facilities included a microwave, large comfy bed and relaxing couch. Spotless Clean.
Delicious selection in Barfood Menu.
Staff are top class and friendly. Parking is perfect.

The Hotel was really lovely. Very cosy. Food was beautiful, both dinner and breakfast. However, it was the staff that made it exceptional. Very friendly, attentive and efficient. Also nice to see that they all seemed to enjoy their work.Lovely happy atmosphere.
The location of the hotel was good - very close to bus stops that will take you to the center of Dublin (just remember to get your Leap Visitor cards for the public transport). The staff were also very friendly and helpful.
EVERYTHING! Amazing, unique accommodations. Great location. Castletown, Leixlip, Maynooth… all beautiful and charming. Dublin… just a half hour away. We loved this place for so many reasons and highly recommend.
secluded and has a characteristic you’ll find nowhere else in Ireland! Makes you feel like you went back 200 years back in time! Nothing like this ever experience and if you have a chance to book don’t hesitate!
From the time of our arrival to departure, everyone we met were extremely welcoming and friendly. The room was spotless and very comfortable. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and the food was delicious.
Good clean hotel with excellent position close to a river in a small town with good access to the motorway network. Bar area is friendly with plenty of activity and breakfast has an excelent choice.
Our rooms were comfortable and quiet. Our breakfast was ample and tasty. We had a choice of menu items. It was close to the airport, so our morning departure was easy.
Impossible to find the entrance to car park.
I was driving up and down the road for ages
But once I found it the hotel is lovely. Staff very friendly. Clean and warm.
