Originally built in 1867, this charming townhouse has been tastefully renovated in a modern style, while still retaining its historic charm, with stained glass windows and high coved ceilings.
In 12 acres of lush, green gardens The Boyne Valley is an elegant 19th-century mansion on the M1 road to Dublin and less than 30 minutes’ drive from Dublin Airport.

We loved the privacy and the whole Irish vibe! We all had our own bedrooms, large living room and greatly stocked kitchen, as well as a crawl foot tub to soak in!!

One of the best BnBs we’ve ever stayed in. Mai is a gracious host, and our ample room was comfortable and quiet even in the front of the house. Very easy to find. The breakfasts were delicious, perfectly cooked with several choices. Mai’s garden is amazing!
Booking & check in were easy & efficient. The room & breakfast were excellent, Hotel nicely situated & grounds very pleasant. Didn't go to Laytown beach but did go to Bettystown beach which was very nice. Staff were friendly & helpful. All in all a very good stay.

I grew up in Drogheda for over 18 years so naturally i am totally biased as this is a very historic town and the river Boyne has been within reach since childhood with places like Baltray, Terminfechin and Clougherhead memorable haunts.
The reason for staying at the D was convenient for all of my family members to visit. My usual place to sstay when "HOME" is with my sister but unfortunately she can no longer drive.

Drogheda is an historical town set between Dublin and...
Drogheda is an historical town set between Dublin and Dundalk on the east coast of Ireland. It has a mainline station and a busy bus station providing connections to the main cities, regional centres and local places.
The town is busy with plenty of places to eat, meet friends and have coffee. People are welcoming and interested in stories from abroad (in my case, London) and also like hearing what is going on up the coast (Dundalk) and in Dublin.
There are some great 'curiosities' in Drogheda (historical sites & quaint shops) and most of all it's a stone's throw from Dublin, making it a convenient place for international travel and further exploration of particularly the east coast of Ireland.
Because it's not Dublin, the cost of accommodation is considerably more economical, with a slightly more laid-back feel and good efficiency.
I particularly liked the buses and even got a free ride when I got on the wrong one (something which rarely happens to me in London!).
Very comfortable. Very clean. Very nice. Good facilities. Nice powerful walkin shower which was great.Nice bed very comfortable 👌.
Great location, bus stop right outside house.
Breakfast set up was fantastic and well presented, nice Irish breakfast(just the way i like it, sets you up for the day)Owner very pleasant and engaging in conversation. Great house. If I'm ever in Drogheda again for the night that's the place I would stay again 😊 😃
This was a cosy B&B on the outskirts of Drogheda. The host was very friendly and welcoming. The place was very clean, the bed and pillows were comfy and we really appreciated the hot water in the shower and big fluffy towels warming on the radiator when we arrived soaked having been walking on the Boyne Valley Camino. We would recommend to friends and family.
Fab hotel good location, Staff very friendly. The night room service women sorry can't think of ur name, she as so polite and brought us up a jug of water she was so friendly. Breakfast manager was very helpful, Breakfast room was very over crowded which gave us concern, but she came to us and offered us another area which was good and safe.
Listoke House is beautiful place to stay, with everything just as you would wish it to be. But the hosts really make this an exceptional place. Raymond in particular looked after us, and ensured that we knew the best spots to visit in and around Drogheda while entertaining us with a few tales. Make sure that you ask about the house’s founder!
Inside the hotel feels like a beachy golf resort. The carpets and paint are all clearly fresh, the room was impeccably decorated and had an exceptionally comfortable bed. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and professional. Breakfast was a highlight as well. I genuinely only have positive things to say about my stay here.
good location
wonderful and helpful hosts
breakfast was delicious and an overwhelming amount
we had a medical emergency and needed prescription filled and Michele and Arthur arranged for the filling and even picked up the medication for us (having arrived tired and ignorant of the area)
Fantastic place and hosts!
This facility wasn't what I expected. It was a youth hostel environment in the main part of Drogheda. Not a suitable or comfortable environment for my wife nor me. It would be fine for a young person, but my wife and I are both retired and didn't fit in with the other clientel.
Exceptional B&B. Tremendous breakfast, Superior rooms. Juilet is brilliant, an excellent, knowledgeable and friendly host. This is a great place to stay and explore the many attractions of the Boyne Valley. It's also not far from one of the best sandy beaches in Ireland.
We're just humble travelers, and we recently had a little trip to Drogheda. We were quite satisfied with our room, and the common kitchen and bathroom had good conditions. We really enjoyed our stay at Spoon and the Stars Hostel, and we highly recommend it to future guests.
Quite historic in style, with a lot of oak furniture, historic art, dark corridors. Nice terrace with water fountains. Generous, bright breakfast room. Good in-house dining options (gastropub or fine dining). Good internet. Hotel-owned parking space in front of the house.
Room is very nice but a little small. The hotel itself is very beautiful and beautifully furnished and decorated. We especially liked the food and service in the pub. The staff and the service in the entire hotel, including the restaurant and pub, are excellent.
It was a quiet location. Friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable bed for a good night's sleep. Excellent breakfast, good choices and warm food. Hotel handy to pub/restaurant nearby. Good bar facilities and comfortable seating area.
The room was comfortable, breakfast with absolutely sufficient selection. But 2 things I particularly liked: 1) a bar with a really nice red ale and a super good local whiskey by name Slane. 2) Super cool Irish mood in the hotel.
The only pub hostel I’ve stayed that I actually liked, it’s very accommodating and was easy to relax, one of drogheda’s if not drogheda’s pest pub at your door stop aswell
Michelle and Arthur were friendly hosts, who made us very welcome. They have a lovely home, situated well for visiting any of the Boyne Valley sights or Drogheda.
