It was clean and tidy We arrived late after the football and when we checked in we went to the bar for a drink .it was quite noisy in the bar when wwe asked for a drink the barman said we had quite enough .we told him we were residents and he said that did,nt matter we were not getting any we have had enough.he then told us we were giving addituide.i have been to dublin alot and its the first time i,ve been refused a drink . I think when the barman heard our accents from the north he did not want to know.will not be back and will tell everyone we know not to stay there.apart from that hotel was fine.did ask for a manager that night but no one was at hand . I felt we were being singled out very disapointed. Yours mr S.hoy

The Harding Hotel is a cut above budget accommodation. If you're looking for a clean, good value hotel with free WiFi internet access you'll probably have trouble finder anything much better in such a good location.

Great location and very reasonable price for city centre location. Very nice modern hotel with clean spacious room and good facilities in the room, ironing board, coffee maker, fridge, TV. Staff were friendly and helpful, a good choice for continental breakfast which was served in a nice bright and airy breakfast room looking out onto the street.

Really lovely hotel, only complaint was the noise from the street. Had room on first floor at the front of the hotel and so could hear everything. Apart from that can't fault it. Just the noise from the street, had room on first floor at the front of the hotel.

The price and location you just couldn't beat. Just a few short blocks off Temple Bar (5 minutes) and directly in front of Christchurch. With the DART (Tara Station) a short 10 minute walk, and Hueston train station 15-20 minute walk...depending on how fast you walk, you can literally hop all over Ireland. Shopping on Henry Street and Grafton Streets were also very close by. All in all everything is walkable from this hotel. the hotels itself is very clean and comfortable. The staff is very helpful, polite and very welcoming. I would definitely stay here again should my travel plans ever take me back to lovely Ireland!

The staff at reception were extremely helpful and friendly. Although I arrived for a conference at 9.00am and my room was unavailable until lunch time, the staff took care of my bags until I checked in later that day. The room was very clean and comfortable and I would stay here again. I had a view of Christchurch Cathedral from the bedroom window, but did not find their bells in any way annoying, as some other reviews suggest. All in all, a very pleasant stay.

Location is perfect - right near the edge of Temple Bar, so it's both quiet and very close to the pub life center and the rest of the sights. The staff was helpful.

Stayed for about one week because of the location and price. Room was on the 3rd Floor opposite Christchurch Cathedral. Noise from the street was not as bad as others have complained of but had to keep a window cracked open because the lack of a themostat that I could set kept the room too hot and stuffy. Otherwise, room was sufficiently comfortable and comparable to others for the price and location even if some of the finish work on the room was subpar, comparable to a "Harry Homeowner" renovation - example, the shelf beside the sink was unusable because it was inadequately supported and barely attached to the wall itself. Not enough usable shelf or surface space in the bathroom to keep necessary toiletries including toothbrush. Would have preferred a more powerful shower but it was comparable to others in this price/class of hotel.

Staff excellent very helpful. Checked-in less than 10mins for a group of 9. Chosen for location which was perfect. Temple bar 5 minute walk, no taxis, no buses ideal for a night out or shopping trip. Price was the best by far, of all the hotels in that area. Rooms clean, tidy, very spacious large triples. Tea, coffee and a fridge, which was great. Rarely get a fridge in hotel rooms in Ireland. Christchurch Cathedral across the road.

Great location, near historical sights and close to Temple bar and shopping. Friendly helpful staff. Tea/coffe making facilities, iron/trouser press in room. Shower curtains not effective in keeping water from bathroom floor.

Central location, friendly helpful staff. Carpet in room needed to be replaced, mold on bathroom walls. The bells will drive you crazy, we recommend bringing earplugs! Would stay there again!

Excellent value for money! Excellent location to stay for a conference in the Dublin Castle conference center (about 7 minutes from the hotel room to the conference hall). Very good free-of-charge WiFi access. The furnishings are old, but in good shape and clean. I was very content and would book the hotel again, when meeting in Dublin Castle.

The location was very good. The room was comfortable, clean. The staff was very helpful. I had a minor medical problem that occured while I was staying at the hotel. As I was to fly out of Dublin that day to China, I was concerned. With the help of the woman at the front-desk, I was able to sort things out. That was so great.

Evan Dublin is not the biggest town and everything is at working distance, hotel's location is by far the main differentiator. If you want a late drink, the pub is quite ok. The hotel's administrator need to be more careful to details: carpets are dusty; bathroom needs to be redesigned, windows need to be repaired in order to firmly close so to keep street's noise out.

Great location, just far enough away from Temple Bar to avoid all the early morning revellers going home but just close enough to stumble back to when we'd had enough pints of Guiness. Arrived breakfast time to ask if ok to leave our bags for the day, but our room was ready so we could go straight up - that was a bonus! Darkey Kelly's (adjourned to the Hotel) had live music on the night we were there and it was a great atmosphere. Our room was on the 5th floor and was roasting hot as the sun was shining through the window, when we pulled the blind down it was still roasting. Not even sure if window would open. Only there the one night and only used the room for sleeping so not really a problem.
