Great people, comfortable and airy. Nice common areas and kitchen. Community ownership made for a nice overall vibe.
Honestly, it was amazing how much Sneem has going on.
Honestly, it was amazing how much Sneem has going on. Definitely could spend more time than our 3 days exploring there and the area around. It was all pretty reasonably priced and not too touristy. Very walkable. The tour busses do make regular stops in the town, but that didn’t disrupt the vibes much.

We completely enjoyed our stay at Parknasilla resort and spa. The town of Sneem is a short drive away, didn't really call into any of the premises so can't really comment about the town itself, however the locality was really beautiful, lush with amazing shrubs and greenery.

There are many wonderful walks around the property, and lots of outdoor activities. We took a day drive and the scenery is like being inside a film set, you almost expect to see fairies in the moss filled woodlands.

Would have been useful to have bike racks on a street -if they were there we didn't see them.
We eat at Breen's Riverside Cafe - for a great location by the river with great potential, overall was disappointing experience, the food was poor value for money. Young student waiting staff but in need of training as to how service should be in a town depending so much on tourists or maybe management have decided they don't need repeat business? .

Sneem is a gorgeous village with good facilities and lots of things to do for the active visitor. Great restaurants and cafes as well as good guided walks for loop walks or the Kerry way which passes through the village. It is within ten minutes' drive of the amazing Ring of Kerry and the beaches along the Wild Atlantic Way.
This property is very beautiful and located in an amazing part of the Ring of Kerry. We enjoyed the food and atmosphere at both restaurants. We explored the hiking trails and little beaches. The views from the main outdoor area are incredible! There was a nice mix of couples and families with activities for all. I loved the spa experience - after my massage I spent time in a "recovery room" having a delicious cup of tea with macaroons. The steam rooms and saunas were all very relaxing.
Lovely cozy cottage in a fantastic setting, amazing views of the mountains, perfect location to explore the ring of Kerry and the local beaches. Sneem is a lovely village with a great playground for the kids. Short drive to Kenmare and Killarney, lots to see and do, we had a fantastic stay over Easter, the host was very welcoming and the cottage was spotlessly clean and had all facilities we needed for the week, it was perfect, will defiantly be booking another stay, highly recommend
Ideally placed for exploring the Ring of Kerry/Skellig Ring, Fergal was an extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful host. The Lodge is in a beautiful and quiet location just outside of Sneem. Breakfast was excellent and there are a number of possibilities in Sneem for an evening meal. The room was of adequate size with plenty of wardrobe/drawer space and the bathroom nicely sized with a great shower. The bed was nice and comfy too.
Everything. John the proprietor and staff were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating. After an arduous yet beautiful cycling trip from Killarney to Sneem, I am treated with an especially delightful stay here. They also managed the restaurant right below, definitely try their fish and chips. I will be planning to come back to cycle the ring of Kerry and stay here again in the future.
We recently stayed in Paknasilla celebrating our engagement & were blown away by the stay. The staff were lovely, a pianist played live music during dinner, spa facilities were brilliant. The waiter in Doolittles was the nicest guy! The hotel even gave us drinks to celebrate our occasion & a room upgrade.
Cannot wait to visit again!
The location was great, very peaceful & only a 5 minute walk to the hotel. Options to walk through the trails or on the pathway.
It was great to have such a big space in the Villa with the kids.
The staff in the hotel were all very friendly & helpful.
Facilities, Location, all excellent.
Food, especially Chef Specials for Dinner fantastic.
Weather was good so we walked every inch of the 500 acres and walked to Sneem and back along the Kerry Way.
Then relaxed in the outdoor Hot-Tub/Jacuzzi. Heaven
We loved our stay at the Sneem Hotel! The grounds are absolutely stunning. We ate dinner outside and my kids played on the lawn. The hotel was everything we needed and more. Breakfast was fantastic and staff were so nice. We will be back!!
In general, we were very pleased with the apartments. Fresh renovation, it was clean, everything is very comfortable and thought out. The owner answered all questions and was friendly. Loved the mountain view from the terrace.
The location beautiful and relaxing particularly the trails (walks) felt connected to the environment.
Breakfast was great as was dinner.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Spa treatment was great but costly.
Fergal was an excellent host. He gave us some great advice on the area and was very approachable for any questions.
The house is lovely, very well kept and a 15 minute walk from Sneem village. Would highly recommend.
A spacious house, more suitable really for a family. Well equipped with comfortable seating and bed. Quiet location but only a few minutes walk to plenty of facilities, shops, restaurants etc.
Beautiful property conveniently located to the wonderful village of Sneem. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience there and will certainly stay in Salmon’s Leap again next year.
