Within a ten to fifteen minute walk to downtown Dublin. Also on a bus line. Private parking in the rear was good. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was okay.

The location was in an upscale neighborhood of Dublin, but close to neighborhood cafes and easy walking to the center of the city. There is a bus stop in front for those who prefer public transportation, as well as free parking for cars. The staff was veryhelpful. We could not have had a more positive experience.

Location very good and quiet if just a little far out of town (15-20 mins easy flat walk). Quality of bedroom and bathroom including fittings and furniture although small. Friendly, helpful staff throughout. Good and pleasant breakfast. It was all just fine. Perhaps a little small for an extended stay but ideal for an extended weekend break.

We arrived in a snowstorm in March and our room wasn't quite ready yet. Our gracious desk clerk offered tea in their parlor that had a fire blazing. Much to our surprise, a full tea service with cookies soon arrived. We knew we had picked a wonderful place to stay for our visit to Dublin. The room accommodations were clean, comfortable, and homey. The in-room dry sauna was a treat, after our days of walking around in the cold in Dublin. Everyone we talked with was friendly and helpful.

This hotel hits target bang on providing exactly what they say they will. It's unlikely that we will return to Dublin but if qe did we would come straight back to The Rochford Not the Hotel's fault but it is a bit of a long walk to any action or restaurants - say about about half a mile (both ways!)

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. They helped out tremendously when a niggling health issue/injury curtailed our trip early. We will certainly be back again. Our bed was quite firm. Although this did not bother me, some visitors with back problems preferring a softer bed would be advised to mention this to the management.

The rooms were spotlessly clean, and very tasteful. Parking was a total bonus too, as I thought it may be difficult in a city. Close to some lovely restaurants - The school house was perfect!! Some noisy neighbours in the room next to ours who played loud music from 5.00pm to 10.30pm. Not a fault of the hotel though.

I really liked how all the staff there and the owner of the hotel were so friendly, helpful and wonderful during my stay there. They helped me check into my room really early although check in isn't until 12pm, suggested great places to visit in Dublin, and offered complimentary coffee and toast at any time. Also the room I had was fantastic! It was always very cleaned, I had a great view from my room and the bed was such great quality, I slept well every night. I had a wonderful stay there and will absolutely stay again when I go back to Dublin! There was nothing not to like, I had a wonderful experience and everyone there was fantastic!

It was quiet and relaxing, the people were very accomodating, and the hotel was very nice. It was a bit far from the city centre... we wouldn't have had a problem walking, but the weather was a bit cold and rainy. We didn't mind paying for the taxi though.

Room was perfectly ok and clean. Room had both wired and wireless Internet. Pretty quiet; traffic noise on main road is muffled by secondary double glazing. Booking specifies checkin from 14:00. I arrived at 14:30 and was told to wait an hour for the room to be available. However, in the end I only had to wait 5 minutes. Breakfast: "full Irish" breakfast was very small, especially for the price.
